We ordered this last year (the largest size) and never used it, thinking it wouldn't work well. Pulled it out this fall and wish we had used it sooner! The acorns always fell perfectly in the aeration holes before and we would spend hours on our hands and knees picking them out - now the net catches the acorns, but still lets in the light and water. Every few days we unstake 2 corners and shake the contents down to the other end, scoop up the nuts and debris and stake back in place again (be sure to stake the corners down or the wind rolls it up like a crepe!) I'm sure we will have to do this more frequently once the leaves start coming down soon, but it is so much faster than what we did before.We use a nut gathering tool on the surrounding areas not covered by the net so no need for 100% coverage. Plan to buy the next size down for closer to the house soon, so happy we have found a solution to tackling the acorns during lawn aeration season!

The Quality was not as good as the picture showed. The corners of the nets were not reinforced, they did have eyeholes. One arrived with a Hold in it, but I worked around it. Over all shortened fruit gathering time and back breaking labor.

Far easier than plastic tarps. Light weight. Reinforced corners as pictured. Didn't harm or scatter olives when dropped. Getting two more. Delivered on time.

This product is basically not the same as the images shown for the product. I purchased the smaller of these (26' x 13 '). Compare my photos of the corner quality versus the image with the blue, vinyl corner. Also compare the edging. The stitching on mine is horribly done and missing in many places, and soon to be loose in many others. As for shade quality, you don't need to worry about it. This will certainly provide less than 25% shade on your lawn (I know this because I work during the summer under shade cloths that are rated for 25% shade, and they are much more opaque than this). This product is easily worth only half the current list price. It also stinks horribly of plastic, as if packed immediately after production; the manufacturer should allow the product to sit outside for at least a week to air out before shipping to customers.

This works great under my two macadamia nut trees to catch the nuts, making them easier to gather. It is very sturdy fabric and well made.
