Better than the last one
I bought this switch to replace the cheap aftermarket switch that came in my hella 500 driving light kit , it’s not for a 4th gen 4Runner but the kit had a 3 wire switch so that’s what I wanted as a replacement. Useful informantion would be with the light on top the top prong is ground middle is power in ( from battery or 12v source ) and lower is power to the relay/device when the switch is on. The light will also come on only when the switch is on. Not a bad switch looking at it now I probably should of just went with the 4th gen .

Perfect Fit '98 RAV4 Fog Lamp Dash Switch
A friend in RAV4 World Forum mentioned that this 4-Runner switch would fit the 1998 RAV4 dash. Indeed it does. SO MUCH NICER than the little round punky switch incl. in the Mictuning Wiring Harness I bought for my fog lights. The ORANGE LED in this switch is a nice touch. Thank you RAV4 WORLD Forum! And thank you Toyota. This looks so much more professional than that little punky ROUND switch. And guess what? I didn't have to drill a punky little ROUND hole in my dash to accommodate that punky little round Mictuning rocker switch. Thanks all around!

Perfect Fit!
I bought a Hella 500 Driving Light kit, but I couldn’t stand the cheap, cheesy switch that came with the kit, so I opted for a better looking switch, something preferably OEM looking. I found this switch on Amazon, and I’m glad I did. This switch was an easy replacement of the cheesy looking round switch, and it fits right into one of the dummy panel slots. Just pop out the dummy panel cover and slide this in and clip it into place. It looks like it belongs on the dash.

Comes in fake "genuine Toyota" packaging, but is most certainly not genuine Toyota (I work for a dealer). That being said, it fits blank switch holes in my fzj80 landcruiser. It works fine enough, but true Toyota aficionados will know the difference.

Switch failed after a few months, maybe it's worth ordering directly from dealership
Edited: Hate to say it but the switch broke after a few months. Some mechanism inside the switch broke and won't actuate, doesn't rock on and off like it should.

Fits Gen1 Toyota Tacoma
Great for adding exterior lights to an older Toyota Tacoma. Pop out the original factory switch blank, and push this one in...no cutting or drilling. Well- constructed Toyota part.

Works perfectly. It has authentic Toyota packaging but was made in China. So I don't know if it was real or not. Pricing at the dealer was similar so it's possible they are all made there. My 3 star may be unfair because of that. It works, fit the dash slot perfectly, seems of decent quality. I used this to wire Hella 500s lights with a factory style switch. 5/5 if its real. 3/5 if its fake.

Awesome
Excellent quality. Works in the first try. Please don’t Buy Chinese equivalents. First touch proves difference.
