Veridian Talking Ear & Forehead Infrared Thermometer

I ordered this for sister, who has issues with her sight, you can not hear it speak unless you stick it in your ear by then it is done, it is hard to use, do not waste your money. Wish I could get money back.

I bought one of these. Needed it quickly, but couldn't open the door to the battery compartment. It requires a jeweler's screwdrive kit - with a real small phillip's head screwdriver. Most people don't have one of these laying around, but you have to have it in order to open the door to the battery compartment.

The last few times we had to verify if a fever was present, this thermometer has been too unpredictable and inaccurate. Several times while closely following instructions it would give us very low readings, when a fever existed. It will give you the last temperature in memory rather than the necessary current temperature.When your loved one is sick you need accuracy promptly!

I bought one of these that said the battery was low even after putting in brand new batteries. Got a replacement and it seems to work but will tell you you have a fever of 103, or maybe 95. Forehead and ear were neither one reliable. Would not recommend!
