Asso Coffee The Jack Coffee Leveller, Stainless Steel

I love this tool but it broke when I dropped it. It does t twist to adjust anymore unless I use a wrench.

Coffee Jack works amazingly well, and really simplifies the whole espresso making process. A little tricky to learn exactly how to use it, but is well worth the effort.

I was pretty skeptical buying this simply because of the price and what it is. Seen sites like WholeLatteeLove really seem to push this. Whenever I see stuff like that I get a bit skeptical and consider other motivations of why they'd do that. I finally caved and decided to give it a shot. So while I don't doubt that there may be some significant mark up, I don't mind too much as long as it's a good product.So I already had my grind set up and I was 100% expecting to need to go much finer if I wanted to use this thing without tamping. Well... I didn't need to adjust the grind at all, in fact it tamped a bit harder than I needed and I had to back this off a little.This was my first day with this, so I'll keep this updated if there is any backdraw to this. Really hoping that this will allow for much more repeatability and avoid wasted shots from an imperfect tamp.I have not tried other leveler without tamping so take that for what it's worth.
