Mylee polishes have been my go-to for at home manis for years now, but i've never personally used builder gel. This one is nice and subtle - a little shimmer and a soft pink. Personally I find the texture a little too thick to use a regular polish, but as a builder it applies well. The bottle is rather large at 15ml and should last a good few sets of nails if used properly - 10/10

Love this product, easy to use, fairly thick and good coverage. Goes on easily and lasts a really good time! Colour was great for my skin tone - good range of colours. Good value and left no residue so was not sticky at all!

As a low maintenance girlie who struggles with depression, I wanted something that made me look/feel a bit more put together but would last a while because I don’t have the energy for weekly maintenance. I’ve never had my nails done professionally so I watched several tutorials to find out how to prep properly and apply. I started off just using Mylee’s gel polish and was happy with the additional layer of strength it gave my nails but having paper thin nails I knew I needed something stronger. I’ve heard horror stories about builder gels and allergies but hoped that by using a HEMA free one, curing properly and not getting any product on my actual skin/cuticle I would hopefully avoid having similar reactions. I prepped nails and applied the ‘peach’ builder gel from Mylee as per their YouTube tutorial (definitely not perfectly) and I’m so pleased with how they’ve lasted. Left photo shows after I did them on 05/11 (with a half nail in ‘the sky is not the limit’ + top coat) and they lasted until I took them off 26/11 (right photo). No lifting, no broken nails and a fairly decent amount of growth. Prior to using gel polishes I was incapable of growing and maintaining length on my nails as they always break. Though I’m only a couple of months in to using Mylee/gel products and don’t want to be over confident, I am currently very happy and would recommend. Only downsides are that I wish there were more builder gel colours and that they had better coverage as would be nice to just do builder gel without doing a gel polish as well (I personally don’t want to see my natural nail underneath).

The clear builder gel was great, made my manicure last a whole week. I found it a little sticky and thick to begin with but once you get used to it, it’s great. But then I thought i’d try the light pink so i can see where i applied it. It applies nicely and has a good consistency but the whole thing peels off after a day. Very disappointing had to reorder the clear. Hopefully it’s just the pink that’s rubbish and they haven’t changed the formula!

So good! Easy to apply. Not too thick but thick enough to build well. Blush is the perfect colour too! Easy enough to cure and pleased with the results after watching a YouTube tutorial. First time applying and pleased with the result

I’ve been using this brand for years and loved it. However, the last 2 bottles the ingredients have obviously changed, it smells different and is useless. The gel comes off within days, literally the whole nail with the gel colour just pops off! I’d initially thought I had a dodgy bottle, but the replacement was exactly the same. Such a shame as it used to be a great product lasting weeks. I can see other reviews mention the same. I shall be looking for a another brand now I’m afraid!
