A YETI is a YETI. It keeps my yogurts, protein drinks, fruit, salads etc.. just as cold as when i took it from the fridge. I haven’t used it with hot foods yet.Sturdy and easy to clean. Strong magnetic closure and fits a lot.The hook to loop closure may be difficult for those w arthritis.

The Yeti lunchbox is a great choice for day to day lunches. With just one ice pack it keeps contents cool even without refrigeration. Along with the metal latch it has a magnetic top as well to keep the bag sealed. Only downside is the odd shape prevent larger Tupperware or food items from being stored and being able to completely latch the top.

Certainly part of the price is paying for the name, which I couldn't care less about as I don't follow fads and trends, but the superior quality is undeniable.

We always thought the hype and high price for YETI coolers was just brand name nonsense but when the purple one went on sale, we decided to try it. Glad we did as the YETI coolers really do keep items colder longer...surprise, surprise! We use the thin hard blue ice packs in it to give us more room for our food. We sometimes take 12+ hour car trips and are so pleased when we open up the purple YETI and get our (still) cold food for our car picnic. We used it during hot (89 degree) Florida weather and were ever so pleased to find that our food was still cold even under those conditions. Worth the price.

I am happy with having it for my lunch box but I do wish it could hold the cold and heat better like the yeti drink wear dose. But overall all it does it job for what I got it for.

I purchased this bad to carry my lunch. The bag is lightweight and flexible. The bag holds a lot of food items. This is the best lunch bag I ever purchased.

If you're reading my review then your probably considering buying this lunch bag, but please read my whole review before you decide.Firstly I'm gonna talk about the number one thing people complain about regarding this lunch bag, and it's the size. This is a lunch bag, not a cooler! Please do not buy this bag if you are planning on carrying your whole refrigerator in it, the bag won't hold up. The size and dimensions of the bag are in the item description, and if you don't believe those dimensions, then please look it up on YETI'S website. The bag does offer a sort of adjusting system for carrying more or less, but that's just about it, before you buy please make sure your tupperware or objects you wanna keep in this lunch bag stay within the dimensions listed.Second, people complain about this bags inability to maintain food and drinks at a cold enough temperature, this is all different for everybody. You are the consumer, if this bag does not line up with your activities then please do not purchase. I work in a factory with a air conditioned break room, for me the bags purpose is to keep my food cold on my way to work, I have a 1 hour drive to work and in california heat, I need my food to stay cold til I make it to work. If you work outside in the summer heat with no way of keeping this lunch bag out of the sun, then it won't hold up, heck even most coolers won't be able to hold up even with ice packs.Third, the price! Don't buy this lunch bag without doing proper research as to what your getting out of it, and what your expecting to get. If you want lots of room, go buy a cooler or lunch box. Don't blame this lunch bag for being the opposite of what you expected just because you were to lazy to do 10 minutes of research or to arrogant to read the item description.Final verdict, I'm very satisfied with this lunch bag, honestly I think YETI did a fantastic job with it. I obviously did my research before buying it and knew that everything I needed to take to work plus more would fit snuggly into this lunch bag, however my only con is that this lunch bag brushes the skin off my fingers and gets smeared by it very easily. Not sure if it's my skin or a waxy coating, but none the less it wipes of very easily. Compared to my previous lunch bag I clearly made the right choice with YETI. Lunchbox

Lots of complaints on this being small but it's the perfect size to bring my coffee and overnight oats to work in the morning! I do think you could pack a decent sized lunch in there if you had to. It's way sturdier than I thought and I actually hope it loosens up as it's a bit stiff.

I carry my lunch to work every day and got tired of using cheap insulated lunch bags with velcro closures that were always pulling fully or partially open while carrying, thus failing to keep my lunch cold. Most of the better quality insulated lunch bags online were zippered on the side. This would make the opening larger when unzipped but it also means that when you lift and carry them by the handle the contents falls to the bottom of the bag. The YETI bag keeps the top-loading and top-carrying design of the cheap lunch bags but the quality of the design and materials is impressive. The YETI insulated lunch bag is a quality bag with a double closure system, a hidden wide magnetic strip that seals the throat of the bag tightly keeping the cold in, and a metal slip-catch that folds the top of the bag down over the contents. The slip-catch can be slid under one of several loops at different heights making it adjustable. The bag works perfectly for me. The quality of materials and construction is excellent. The size is also perfect for my single-person lunch needs. I took off one star because of the price. I would expect to pay more for this bag than other typical insulated bags but I think $99 is a bit overpriced. Having said that..... I'm still happy that I purchased it.
