Great set of books for my 7 yr old (second grade). She received for Christmas and finished the first book pretty quickly. We will be purchasing the next set soon!

My daughter who is in 2nd grade loves this set. I would definitely recommend. She is so excited to read this together each night. Bonus, the set is super affordable.

We absolutely love this series. Plot is easy to follow, it relatable for kids in this age range and the characters are loveable and there's lots of laughs along the way

Christmas gift for my 8year old granddaughter. She absolutely loved them and read all very fast. I’m so happy.

I bought the first book set (books 1-4) the summer before my daughter started 1st grade (6yr old) and she LOVES them. It is six months later and I just ordered the last book set (books 10-12). She can read them on her own for the most part but we take turns reading together. They are perfect for young kids who have learned to read. The adventures Ivy and Bean go on is hilarious, even as an adult I enjoy reading them with my daughter. Good clean fun and humor. There are pictures but not on every page. It is definitely a step up from the kindergarten books that are still mostly pictures with just a few sentences. These are more like an intro to real chapter books. If you have an advanced reader ready for something a little more challenging these are perfect and so much fun to read. My daughter looks forward to reading them every night and has a hard time putting them down. Great series! Well written and illustrated!

My daughter just got to the chapter books level and still finds them intimidating but this book set immediately got her excited with the secret notebook storage "book 4". The books have nice large print and pictures everyother page to keep this beginning chapter books girl intrigued

Daughters loved it

My daughter (7 years old) could not put it down. This is her first proper book (not short stories etc) and she enjoys a lot. The font size is appropriate and the distance between lines. The story is good. She finally really enjoys reading

Acheté pour ma fille de 8 ans. Elle n'a pas accroché au début, elle trouvait les histoires difficile à comprendre. Puis elle s'est entêtée et les a lu. Au final, elle m'a dit qu'elle avait bien aimé, mais qu'elle n'en voulait pas plus parce que les filles ne parlaient pas bien. Et en effet, bien que les histoires soient rigolottes, je trouve qu'elles manquent un petit peu de morale. L'une des deux filles est une rebelle, au point que même ma fille ne la supporte plus.

A mi hijo de 7 años le está fascinando seguir las aventuras de Ivy and Bean, lo recomiendo ampliamente para los niños bilingües
