Viva Decor 50gm Inka Gold Metal Gloss Paint, Hematite

I bought a similar product years ago when my son was in cub scouts for his pine car. I really liked it for a different metallic medium. I ordered this in hematite now for my son’s art project and because it was the closest to black. Unfortunately, when it arrived it was quite the opposite from dark. The label said hematite but when I peeled back the label you can see it says platinum. I reordered it in hopes that the correct color would come in time for my son to finish his art project. Well, the new one came but it was totally dried up and hard as a rock. Very disappointed. If you can get the right color and it isn’t dried up, I do like this product.

We used this to turn some cardboard boxes into “metal” for my son’s robot costume for Halloween. It looked great, was easy to apply and washed off my hands and countertops easily. I would definitely use this again for future projects. I just rubbed it on with either a cloth or my fingers and then wiped it with a clean cloth to give it some shine.

I like in a gold and am adding colors. Use in polymer clay.

Works great on wood

This product is amazing!!! I loved it immediately, although I need to get better at applying it and to get better tools to apply it. I think an eye shadow foam applicator would be perfect for detail areas. I applied the dark gray color to some lantern parts (I won't be burning oil in the lamp). I put some mixed media black gesso on beforehand and I think it makes all the difference. Sorry for the odd photos. I couldn't get the Inka Gold on all of the bigger part because I was just using my finger with a cloth over it, so I was trying to show the areas that had it applied. I'm excited to try some other colors!

Beautiful colour, like shiny dark metal, can't wait to use it in my art projects!

チャコールグレーというか、日本名で鈍色という感じの色です。渋い感じのつやがでます。固めのクリーム状ですから指でなぞるようにしてつけると良いですね。このメーカーのシリーズはとても使いやすくて、いろいろ集めたいです。
