Trying to get pregnant - easy, affordable and reliable test strips
Works well for me. The test strips are easy to read, just make sure to follow the directions. I read other reviews that complained about these strips but I chose to try them anyways because of all the positive reviews. I've never had a problem reading these strips. The amount of LH hormone in my urine determines how defined the results will appear. Negative results are easy to read. Around my ovulation time sometimes I get a faint line, sometimes I get a very dark line (positive). Some people on here have complained that they didn't get a positive result at all - maybe that is because their bodies didn't get an LH spike that month - sometimes that happens. If you choose to purchase these test strips make sure to read the packaging because it explains how all of that works. And do some internet research on LH hormone and ovulation so you can learn how your monthly cycle works.I've been using these strips in an attempt to improve my chances of getting pregnant. I've been using them for several months and no pregnancy yet, but they have been helpful to more accurately pinpoint when I'm ovulating because my cycle isn't always perfectly regular. In my opinion these test strips are not a 100% guarantee for preventing pregnancy or for getting pregnant...but they do what they are supposed to do which is tell you if you get a LH spike in your urine.

They are accurate if you're really want to become pregnant.
I have a long review to write. Those test are the perfect test for anyone trying to conceive. You get 100 strips, that mean you can test twice or 3 times a day. And when you test dip it in the urine for 3 seconds. Start testing cd8 until you get 2 bright line or the test is darker than the control. Even if you pass the suposed ovulation date believe me keep testing until you have positive. I spent over $200 on Clearblue. The one thing that make me purchase Clinical Guard is when 11 days ago the Advanced Clearblue Digital gave me a smiley face for 48 hours, meaning that it's my peak day when it was only to days after my period end. And I showed my DH the test, and we both said no way. I quickly went to CVS and got another ovulation test and test with the same urine, guess what it was totally negative. I have being ttc since 4 months using Clearblue, I never really check the cd. Then it gave me a smiley face I tought that I was ovulating and we bd. Apparently, I've been having wrong peak days for four months.

Worked Perfectly
I used these starting very early in my cycle since I wanted to measure their accuracy against my bhramaputra chart and have some extra knowledge of when ovulation was happening instead of guessing. I had a negative result for days then had a light positive one night at 2am. By the morning it was darker, even darker by afternoon and definitely positive by evening. The next day it was negative again. My temperature rise two days later confirmed the accuracy of the result. I have enough to use next month and if I have not conceived by then I will definitely order more. If I had paid a lot for an opk I would not have tested four times that day and I may have missed my surge. They are small but that wasn't a problem for me. I kept plastic cups under the bathroom sink along with the tests. I pee in the cup, do the test, put it flat on the package and by the time I clean up and wash my hands the result is popping up. The result came up right away but I left it out for the full five minutes. Then I toss and wipe the vanity with a sanitizing wipe. No problem :)

Easy to understand-- got pregnant quick!
These test strips are simple to read/ understand and MUCH cheaper than buying the test kits from the drugstore. After 3 months of using these I'm better able to predict ovulation, which I expect will lead to getting pregnant sooner than I would have otherwise. I respect other people's desire to understand how their body works... I'm just glad I, personally, don't have to go full-hippie and become an expert on vaginal mucus viscosity (or spend hundreds of dollars) in order to get the data I need to get pregnant faster.Update: I found out I was pregnant soon after writing this review! (and now have a 2 1/2 year old :) These worked out great for us. It was easy to tell just when I was nearing ovulation, and when we should (ahem) ramp up activities. The test strips got a faint color (thanks to increasing hormone) that grew darker every day (and even within the same day) up until "egg day". According to what I read ahead of time, it's best to have sex a day or two before the egg is released... apparently the sperm fare better after a bit of pH adjusting, or something...

Just like commercial test strips-Blue Strip Only
This product is easy to use. The blue strip is the one for the ovulation. The defined pink line is the control line, there is a very faint line to the left of the defined pink line on the blue strip (I am not sure you can see it). This faint line shows a very low LH level which is accurate since woman have a constant low level (a baseline) until the pre-ovulation peak. This is pretty good for the cost and easy to use. All you need is a small cup to dip the strip inside. (You can try to pee directly onto the strip below the max line, but trust me that it is harder than it seems, just use a cup)The strips come in individual packs, you hold onto the left side where it is colored with blue or pink, then you dip it in the urine until the max line approximately 0.25" inches deep for only 4 seconds then you lay it flat on a surface. It takes about 3-5 minutes to see the results. The results stay on the strips for a good while, definitely over 48 hours.By the way there is also another pregnancy strip that is sold that looks pretty much the same and is the same as the market ones. You can see it in this picture, the middle is commercial test, and the pink test strip is for pregnancy.Just in case you do not know: It is recommended you take the ovulation test (LH) the same time each day, the pregnancy test you should take it in the morning the first time you pee, this will provide the best concentration of HCG.I hope this helps you in making the decision.
