I like this feeder but I don't love it. I like the fact that it's easy to fill, the birds like it, it looks nice in my garden and the overhang keeps the seed MOSTLY dry. What keeps me from living it is that there are no drain holes in the feed tray, and so when any water gets past the overhang of the roof, it stays in the tray and the seed turns into a sludge that needs to be cleaned out by hand. I am going to rill some holes in ours and that should probably take care of the problem, but IMO the product should be ready to use as-is without needing modification by the purchaser.

Lovely little feeder. I got it for my chickens and they haven't yet found a way to dig all the food out of it and make a mess, so that's nice.I have hung it just off the ground from the sturdy wire loop at the top. It holds together very well with no incidents of it collapsing/falling open randomly as other feeders have done in the past.It does an OK job of sheltering the food from the rain although it is better under further shelter.The only minor issue is it can be a bit tricky to screw the lid back on because you can't see how the bits slot together without turning it upside down which of course makes all the food fall out. So you have to do it blind as it were.The lid/roof does not completely remove from the body of the feeder as it is attached by the metal cord in the middle, which stops it falling apart but also can make it very slightly tricky to fill the thing up because you have a narrower opening to pour into.

To mount this on a pole, there is no thread on the base so I had to buy superglueOtherwise, the birds like it

Whilst filling the bird feeder the unit fell approximately two feet and the bottom tray separated from the unit, the material is too brittle. I was able to successfully glue the unit together again. The major issue with the unit is when a premier bird seed is used I.e. quality seeds, the gravity fed outlets for the seed soon become choked up and the unit is left substantially full with seed.

For whatever reason ,it has not been a favourite feeding station for my regular garden birds.

This is not sturdy, serious feeder It is more pretty and decorative.

Great feeder shame it was damaged in transit.

A long wait for these but pleased with them, yet another feeder to keep filling up!!!!
