Vera Series 10 [DVD] [2020]

This is an amazing series. I have bought each season and we thoroughly enjoy each episode. I do highly recommend you use Close Caption to better understand what they are saying. They do use words that we do not use in the US like the word "bairns" which is children. The plots are very good. Even with some changes in the cast the series has remained very interesting. I highly recommend it for an excellent addition to ones British DVD library.

I've loved this series although it has been interesting to see someone has consistently been improving Vera's wardrobe and "look" since the first series. In some ways, it is a shame to change the character, but I so enjoy Brenda Blethyn it is easy to overlook the subtle shifts. It is amazing that she looks younger rather than older.

This version can't be viewed on my new Blue Ray player; it's not formatted for my player. I need to return this item. Had planned to donate the DVD to the local library after I enjoyed it, but no one (myself included), wants to need to rely on a computer to watch this. The need for additional steps for the viewer should have been disclosed: I never would have ordered this and now I have to arrange to return it to the UK

Already have seasons 1-9 so adding 10 was common sense. Like fine china, Vera just keeps getting better.The seller communicates with you promptly. I received my order and I week sooner than expected. Very Happy with the seller and plan on purchasing additional items from them.

I have series 1 thru 10. Looking forward to season 11. When will 11 be ready to buy?Love the series of Vera.

Oh it's great good character to get into great stories to listen to and watch

I made a mistake in ordering this as I didn’t realize it was not for US viewing, so I have not been able to watch it. All the other Veras have been very good.

I expected more than the plots delivered this time. I was underwhelmed. In America we have nothing as close as good as detective stories like Vera and other British shows however. In the US one of her lot would have a subplot that was going against her interests. Nobody is untouchable.

You can't go wrong with this show. We have watched it quite a few times. Always see something you've missed. And always thought provoking.

I watched the whole series of Vera and loved it. It was refreshing to see an older celebrity acting so naturally. The character had many sides, some amusing, some a little irritating but overall funny, clever and believable.

...without having to be young & skinny nor male.A really great detective series!
