I've been looking for LLBean style boots like these for awhile and am very satisfied with the quality and overall aesthetic of these boots!However, they are a bit large!I have very adaptable feet -- depending on the shoe I may be a 6.5 or an 8! I got an 8 in these going off of other reviews and based off of my tennis shoe size. I also wanted to layer multiple socks when I wear them! They were a little big -- plenty of room even with two pairs of wool socks on-- but not in a way that would inhibit proper walking or anything. I'll be able to layer probably 3 thick socks without squishing my toes which I'm going view as a plus. For a more accurate fit I would have gotten a 7.5 -- if you're going for a snugger fit and not layering a ton of socks, I would size down!

These are very cute, great quality, very comfortable and durable, waterproof, and everything you can want in a great boot. I absolutely love them. I have had them for a year now and they still look brand new despite wearing them in lots of bad weather with mud, rain, and snow. I wore them in Ireland (famous for lots of rain) on holiday and my feet stayed dry the whole time and these were also very comfortable for hiking long distances. I wear a size 9 in running sneakers, and I ordered a size 10 in these boots because I wanted to be able to wear thick socks with them for warmth. The size 10 with the thick socks works perfectly. And even if I wear thin socks my feet still don't slide around. Very comfortable! I highly recommend these boots.

I ordered my size and they are still too big, although it’s not a deal breaker for me because I can wear them with thicker socks. Overall I’m satisfied with this purchase.

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have had! The arch is right, the boot isn't too heavy, the shoestrings aren't messing up anytime soon, and it fits from top to bottom. My only complaint would be that I must drag my feet when I walk, because the bottom of it is wearing a little at the back, and I'm concerned how long they'll actually last if I wear them an awful lot. Good looking shoe though. Overall I'm pleased with them.

I'm normally a 61/2, med. width, and flat-footed. I ordered the size 6.This boot runs large and has little arch support. At the first wearing, my toe hurt from banging against the front of the boot on the downhills and hurt the inside of my shins due to the fold on the contoured tongue. I put a full Spenco arch support insole in and now the fit is good. The insole will also provide better insulation against the cold. (I bought these for a winter trip to Japan). To solve the sore shins problem, I rubbed the tongue with Neetsfoot oil to soften it up. Now it's perfect! Also the green color is very nice.

Good quality , comfy. Haven’t worn them out because I live in California and it’s 112 degrees rnUpdate: came to the snow and wore them. Waterproof, my feet stayed dried. Not much experience w snow, but these boots were slippery. Not sure if that’s normal. I saw that everyone in the trail were struggling in the same locations as I did.

Definitely Size down! I usually wear an 8.5, and always thought I was on the larger end of an 8.5, but I purchased the 8. They fit well enough but they definitely are still quite large/wide, but nothing thick socks cant fix. Besides that, these are very comfortable for all day wear, but we'll see how they hold up to a winter hike!Style wise, absolutely adore them. Well made and they look nice! Only complaint is I had to glue in the insoles the second time I wore them, as it kept sliding out and causing a gap i could feel under my toes as I walked.100% a good buy!

I got a size 10 which is my normal size (sometimes 9.5 too). They're fairly roomy but thick socks keep my feet from sliding around. The cons are the soles are almost too thin (I can easily feel bumps on the ground, but thick socks help) and the insert in the left foot keeps sliding back (but can be fixed with some adhesive). Pros are they are they're very stylish, waterproof, and keep ankles warm. I could walk around in them for couple hours and be fine, but they're not ideal for being on your feet all day. Would be good for walking in rain or snow (with thick socks).
