XL LiPo Battery Charging Safe Box, Un-Painted

I was very impressed with the BAT-SAFE - XL LiPo Battery Charging Safe Boxes I ordered. They’re built extremely well and I now have a much greater sense of security when I’m storing my Li-Po batteries. I actually ordered two so I could split my 5 and 7000 mAh packs up for added safety.

The product came damaged (dented in two spots). The material seems very thin - does not seem very strong. Not a great build quality for the price. The warning label says "don't use if damaged! - I will be returning it.

My second BATSAFE box, really like the concept of the design as a safe storage solution for my batteries. Only thing that doesn't make sense to me is why this box is deep instead of wide? For my use it would be much better with the lid on one of the large flat sides.

Limited use..Only two 6s batteries? Returning to seller costs $72 from Houston and Amazon will have to get envolved?

I purchased the XL safe box because the stated capacity on the Amazon site is 4ea 6s 5000mAh Lipo batteries. The user manual states a capacity of only 2ea 6s 5000mAh. I spent an extra $50 for the XL and extra capacity but ended up spending the extra money for nothing.

Box delivered as promised, included instructions WHICH seem to be written for original bat-safe and states maximum Wh rating is 220 however their website states XL version which I ordered max Wh is 500. Other than "manual" the label on box itself makes no mention of Wh rating. Vendor needs to fix this.

Came damaged in an undamaged box. Frustrating to experience this. I don’t think it will have any functional issues but for the price you would expect a nice finish rather than a big dent in the top.

I bought this from my local hobby shop.I don’t know how this thin metal Box will hold up to lipo fire very poorly made thin walls and dented sides when purchased. (absolutely would not recommend)
