Good Product with Some Lacking Features
So I got my brother this as a gift for him buying a new house. We installed this together and shared our experiences. First off, you must know the difference between a full lock with knob, and a deadbolt lock. It is simple enough, but many may miss if they don't read carefully. A deadbolt does not include a doorknob, so it only complements your lock system, and cannot be the whole thing. So why even have just a deadbolt only? Why not have a full system with the knob? Well, for one, it can be more versatile than the full system, since you can add it to any door without taking the door knob out. Conversely, you'll have to have an extra deadbolt hole in place ready to accommodate it, otherwise you'll have to dig and drill it yourself, which is not recommended. You'll most likely need a professional. However, I see many new houses with a system in place that does have an extra hole already for a deadbolt system. So if you have a door with both systems in place, what some people do is leave the knob system unlocked, and lock using the deadbolt (the knob then is just to swing open the door). Now that we have that out of the way, let me tell you about this deadbolt itself. Since my brother's front door already has a regular knob and lock system, we decided to try this as a secondary locking system, since this was his first time, and he isn't quite sold on the fingerprint unlocking feature yet and didn't want to put all of his trust on his new house and new furnishings solely on one lock. So we set up both systems for him, and he uses the pass code as his main unlocking method. Set up with not too bad, especially since there were two of us to figure things out. It took us about an hour to take out the old deadbolt and put this one in, mainly because the most time consuming part was reading the manual to figure out to set up all the features.Overall, I give it five stars for what it can do now, but honestly I'm not sure yet how secure the fingerprint sensor is. I'm really paranoid about this kind of thing. Peace of mind is invaluable. We tried with both our fingers and it distinguished us apart, and I will test it with more fingers and data later on just to make sure. For now, my brother is using the pass code method as his unlocking method. Obviously, it is a bit slower than a one-touch fingerprint unlocking, and you do have to be careful about prying eyes. In the end, it is up to you to feel which method works best for your peace of mind. There are a couple other features worth mentioning. First, which is what I always fear about these things, is when the batteries die when you're not expecting it to (because it does have a low-battery beep warning feature), what can you do? I once had a lock like this that ran out of battery, and luckily I had the spare mechanical key in my car. But who wants to do it that way? Having to depend on a spare key defeats the purpose of a "key-less" entree. Fortunately, the way this system deals with that is that you can use an external battery charger to charge it up to get in. It's not perfect - I wish we can just use our phones instead, but current phones do not have a way to output charge from their USB end yet (some new phones can output charge out their backs wirelessly). Finally, you can set up one-use codes for those times when you're away and need to get your plumber or electrician or mother in-law in, but don't want to let them in again after that (for obvious reasons).

Lock never worked properly. Had to use the key, which defeats the purpose of a keyless entry lock.
Dislike! It was easy to install, but never worked properly. It took me a while to get in touch with the right representative after being given the run around. I finally spoke to someone that said they would get me a new bolt lock sent out. That was 8 months ago. I have not heard or received anything. I also tried to call that same representative several times and no answer or return call. This is a total rip off and poorly made lock. Do not buy from this company.

Looks nice.
Appears to be well built. Easy to install. Looks nice. There is no autolock feature if you manually unlock it - which you have to do when leaving from the inside. Easy to lock once you're outside, but would be nice to have it autolock. I would not rebuy. After unlocking from outside, it gives you 8 seconds to get in and shut the door behind you. Not easy if you have more than one person entering. The bad part is if you shut the door and the dead starts to come out but hits the door jam, you have to manually unlock it with the inside knob and it is very stiff. If you tried doing that from the outside with the key, I think the key would break.

Definetly worth the buy!
The device was not that hard to install and the instructions for resetting your codes are pretty straight forward. The device looks good and works well. I wish it came with a matching door knob but otherwise great price and worth it! You can add all members of your families finger print (even your small children).

If you work at night, coming home late, or low light visibility this is the Best lock ever!
This lock is AMAZING. You can use it three ways, original key entry, your own personal code, or the finger sensor pad. The sensor pad is my favorite. The other day I came home with my arms full with bags, I didn't have to fumble for keys, or try to punch in a code, just place your finger on the sensor pad and in seconds your door is open. The best think about it is you can use up to three different fingers for the same person. The lock is durable, strong, easy to install, can store over 200 finger prints and 100 pin codes. This lock is ideal for both businesses and residential properties. The iMagic door lock comes with both paper and guided video simple installation instructions. This is the best deadbolt lock ever. My kids think it's the coolest thing, no losing key or giving out codes. Best lock I ever bought. Money well spent.

DO NOT BUY
Complete waste of time. The lock does the opposite of what is described in the user manual. Even after calling maintenance, it still does not work properly. Ever after a factory reset, it STILL does the opposite. Finger print to lock (even though in the manual it says your fingerprint is not needed to lock,) step away for ten seconds, and it UNLOCKS ITSELF. Do not purchase, this product is a liability and a JOKE.

Very Good
The iMagic Fingerprint Deadbolt was good because it was easy to install. We can use the key, passcode, and the fingerprints to unlock the door. This was better then our old lock. Our old lock was okay because if we change the passcode it would the still be the old passcode. The deadbolt can let use change the passcode and add more to it. The storage of the fingerprint can have up to 240 fingerprints. The deadbolt looks good on the door.

Do not buy
This product does NOT work as advertised. The fingerprint will lock the door, but will no UNlock the door. The code does not work at all -- lock or unlock. Fortunately the key will lock or unlock the door. What a waste of money. There is no refund unless Amazon will offer a refund for selling something that does not work as fully advertised. It was very difficult to install as some of the parts did not fit and needed to be bent (it is made in China) to fit properly. Their Quality Control is non-existent. Buy something else.
