Fantastic collection of battle mats for the DM who like to do random encounters!
This book is fantastic, honestly. I saw a TikTok about it and immediately came to buy one. I love the maps in this book, and the fact that you can lay the book flat and use two maps together is great! I was a little disappointed to find out that this book does not come with stickers, as the TikTok I saw said it did and I saw someone on here say it did, but it does not. The stickers are sold separately, but even without the maps are great. The forest campsite one is my favorite, it'll see a lot of use when my players g̶e̶t̶ ̶a̶m̶b̶u̶s̶h̶e̶d̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶s̶e̶t̶ ̶w̶a̶t̶c̶h̶e̶s̶ have a peaceful night :)

This Book is Freaking Awesome
It’s so nice. The maps are simplistic enough that they can apply to a lot of different settings and work with grid combat. I really like how it manages to perfectly balance how nice it looks and how much application/functionality it has. I am going to use this for a long time, as maps can be reused for various scenes.Leaves a lot of inspiration for combat scenarios as well.

Delighted by the variety and flexibility
I did my research before purchasing this, so I knew what to expect. The only real question was how good the production quality would be once I got it in person.Well, it just arrived, and I'm happy to say it's great. Great enough so that I will for sure be buying some of the other battle map books by Loke. Every page is a map of its own, and if you lay the book open as a two-page spread the two maps join for an even bigger location. Nice! What I like about this assortment is twofold: 1) The variety, and 2) that so much of it is "generic."That second point sounds like an insult, but it's not. Too often I find that in an effort to be unique, battle map creators end up creating locations that are TOO unique, so unique you can only use them once. Loke wisely designed most of their maps to be highly flexible and useful in many situations.General outdoor locations -- woods, roads, snowy landscape, riverside, etc -- can be used over and over for many different scenarios. Throw down a few bits and bobs and you can make them different each time. The same holds true for indoor locations and town locations. Some throne rooms, tile floors, sewers, general caves, streets, etc. It all looks good while still being the kind of maps you can use over and over. There ARE a few locations that are a little more unique and distinctive, which you can use for special encounters. Magic circles, etc. But by and large, you can get a lot of repeated use out of most of these. The art is a bit grainy here and there (looks better in the YouTube reviews I watched), and the handful of dungeon maps are so specific they're not likely to be of much use to most -- in my opinion, it's usually best to just have some basic straight corridors and rooms -- but otherwise, this is a great package that will get lots of use at my table. In fact, I MIGHT buy a second one, since the modular nature of the design means you can slide books together to form bigger and bigger maps. I love that!Overall I'm very happy with the production quality and versatility. Loke just won themselves a customer.

Shame it Seems To Be Out of Print?
I like this book of maps a lot. A lot of the maps are a bit redundant with the revised book now, but honestly both are worth having.

Awesome! As big as it can be.
I would definitely not want larger maps in a book, but I have had a ranged player always running off the board.Pro tip: draw a grid on a large posterboard and put this book atop it. Then you have a little extra room but still have an awesome looking map for the "real action".

Convenient and useable with whiteboard markers
This is great for use with my students in D&D club at school. We use it with whiteboard markers that wipe off after use even a few weeks after being drawn on.We like how it is adjustable and we can use one page or both for a bigger map. There are so many different kinds of maps that we use this in every session where a map is called for.The middle spine poses a bit of a stumbling block when it comes to putting a large mini on that section but we use bluetac to mount our minis down. The only downfall is that our books edges are a bit worn and the paper shows through and in some cases edges have folded, but it does get used quite often so no real complaints here.

Best buy in months...
Normally I'd scope the net and print the maps off at Officeworks but these maps are gorgeous, great size and just perfect for encounters. I'll definitely be getting more as the other volumes come out.

Perfect for all types of RPG's.
The maps give you enough surface area to have descent sized battles on different types of terrain. A dm could use the one book for an entire campaign. Best value for money as far as maps is concerned. Highly recommended.
