Disappointed, I purchased two 100 ft rolls to light up a swinging bridge I built, the lights looked great.....for two months, now I'm seeing sections within the uncut 100 foot span inoperable. also noticed that with the two light ropes almost side by side they are different brightness at different viewing angles. i hope Walcut can provide answers.

We absolutely loved these until they caught fire. We never left them plugged up when it was raining, and it wasn't raining when we smelled smoke and realized it was the rope lights. We unplugged them, and they were sparking and charred.We've had them on our back deck for weeks, and we loved sitting out at night surrounded by the pretty lights. We wrapped them around the deck stairs as well, and my husband would plug them up when he had to go down the stairs to take the trash out.Unplugging the lights before going in was a ritual, we didn't want to risk leaving them unattended. Last time we were outside the lights went out, then came back on. We thought it was a fluke, but then we smelled something burning, and it turned out to be the plug for these lights.This has made me really paranoid about deck lights. I ordered solar rope lights to replace these, since it seems safer. I think for outdoors we'll be using solar exclusively from now on.

I ordered 2 hundred ft. light ropes. One worked fine. The other, not so much. A section of the second light rope was not functioning. I didn't figure this out until I'd already put them up.

This is a spool of warm white PVC covered LED lights that are ropes. The entire spool is 100 feet and the lights are spaced at approximately an inch apart along the entire rope. The rope can be cut at intervals but you have to locate the (faintish) markings where they are cuttable – about every three feet. This comes with a power adapter installed so you can actually plug it in immediately to see how bright it is – pretty bright. But it also comes with two additional adapters so you could potentially cut this into three individual sets if 100 feet is too much for the area you're lighting.The PVC is very flexible and easy to maneuver (thus far). I'm using it as Christmas lights. The lights can be removed and re-rolled onto the spool when not in use or for storage and the lifespan is purported to be 50,000 hours, though there is no way for me to verify that at this time.These are LEDS so they don't get hot, which I love. You can also use the included power connectors if you want to mixe robes of various colors but I can't comment on how that works because I only received the one color and am using it as is. There are also 30 clips included for installation.One thing I'm interested in seeing is if the PVC discolors from being in the elements – rain, snow etc. No way to tell right now but that sometimes happens with PVC.So far I like them and they're perfect for my holiday decorations. All of my questions about this product have to do with lifespan. Hoping to get more than one holiday season out of these, which I should be able to if they hold up in "weather." I'm going to try a section indoors as well and then compare the sections after I take them down to see how each fared in their environments. If I notice any changes or defects, I will report back here.So far, recommend.

These rope lights look terrific in my back yard. My husband placed them along the bottom of our row of grape vines which lines the top of the hill in our back yard. About 18-20 inches off of the ground. The look spectacular at night.

Received two sets... one works and other has 3/4 of lights out! Kiddos were not happy when dad hung lights and they didn't work. I hope the return/exchange policy is an easy one. The set that does work are fabulous.

I bought these lights back in 2017 (it’s now 2022) and installed them on my pop-up tent out back the same day. They have been on 24/7 since. I have been through 4 tents and these lights are still going! As of today, there is only 2 (maybe 3) led’s burned out. Over 4 years outside in the elements and still working! Highly recommend!
