Shy Velvet Women's Casual 3/4 Sleeve V Neck Shift Dress Chiffon Short Party Dress

This dress was a last minute purchase for a formal wedding. It was perfect! I am 4'10 and 180 pounds. I usually wear a size 14 jeans and a large top (40DD). I wore a strapless bra because bra straps probably would have peeked out. It was very fitted around the bust but the dress fit very well, was very comfortable, and didn't wrinkle. Ot was very flattering for a 63 year old chunky grandma. I received tons of compliments! The material was nice and it seemed very well made. And the price was perfect! I was very pleased with my purchase. It arrived in 2 days.

I am going to stay pretty neutral for my review since there is no way I can wear this. I normally buy XL or 14 and based upon the listing I was under the impression it was true to size. There is NO STRETCH. It probably would’ve fit properly over my waist and hips if it wasn’t so strained up top. The color is very nice. Slightly more pink in person than on my monitor but still matched the earrings I bought it for. Bust size is around 36DDD/38DD.

I ordered this dress among others for my daughter to try as a college graduation dress. She wanted white, which is very hard to find in stores right now and she was over the shopping, lol. I didn’t think she’d go for it since it’s not bright white, but gave it a try. Well, she loves it! It’s very flattering. The fabric is light and flows beautifully. There was no question after trying it on this was the dress. It’s above the knee, but not a mini, and nude undergarments don’t show through. Very tasteful and looks like it cost more than it did. She used an iron with synthetic setting and steam (put a towel layer between the fabric and iron!) to remove the fold lines from shipping and it worked perfectly. She wore it once for pics with her friends and didn’t want to take it off because it made her feel so pretty. I definitely recommend.5’6”, approx 145 lbs, 34DDMedium

I've never been one to trust ordering something online to look good on me. I'm very short and have a strange build. But his was perfect for what I needed it for. It was beautiful. I was comfortable all night, which was one of my main concerns. It was kind of short, but not enough to worry too much about. I wasn't bending over. The material is light weight, but not cheap feeling. All in all, I was so happy I made this purchase.

Ordered this in navy, black and red! True to size but order up one size if u have big breasts it is snug in that area. I am a 16 and curvy with a 40DD bra size I ordered a xl and a xxl and kept the bigger size which was perfect. Only thing I’d change is adding a small stitch mid arm to keep slits closed to not expose my whole arm. Next time i wear it I will fix that and maybe add a small gem over the stitch to dress it up. Flattering I got many compliments :)

I purchased this for a wedding. I love how loose it is in the "body" but it's definitely SHORT! I'm 5'4 and a 38D, I ordered a large. It fits the chest area, doesn't go too deep in the V-neck. However the length is at least 3 inches too short. I have a long torso and short legs, I order tall in most tops but petite in most bottoms. My saving grace was that I ended up finding some black gym shorts (like spanx) and wore them under the dress. When I raised my arms it looked like the dress was longer because the black shorts were seen and looked like part of the dress.I'm giving it 3 stars because the seams were all tight, the dress looked just like the pictures, but the length it is, is what it should be when the wearers arms are lifted.

If you purchase this dress, you will not be disappointed.OK I am going to be really honest. If you have issues with the size of your arms or wanting to hide your bat wings, this is not the dress for you. It is a beautiful dress, nicely made and looks great too. I have arm issues so I know I won't be comfortable in it. I am returning it due to my issues, not issues with the dress.
