There is not a better precise trimmer that I know of. The lock does slip back often and you need to push it back open. They do not last forever with lot of use, and heavy use will wear them out in a few months. Sometimes the spring comes off and then you need a new one. But, others have the same problems, and either don't cut as well or don't last as long. I have used (several pairs) for 9 years, extensively for many gardening and harvesting sessions. Great for deadheading, quick basil and parsley harvesting, and other more intensive trimming jobs. I buy 2 pairs per year, and keep the old ones for rougher jobs until they break...some last for a few years.

These are great little sharp snippers that perform well working in tight places, and you want to target what needs to be snipped. The blades aren't long so it's easy to control what you want to clip. Also, a blade cover is included to keep those blades protected. I have been using scissors but they were too cumbersome to manipulate. These fit the bill perfectly. I recommend highly.

Absolutely love these pruners have had a few pairs Larger ones also and they work so good. I wouldn’t have bought so many pairs if I didn’t love them. Small enough to get in places without doing damage but big enough to hold and actually use.

They are sharp but easy to handle. I keep them right next to my geraniums and other plants requiring trimming often. Perfect for the weekend Gardner or for house plants.

Excellent ergonomic pruning shears for herbs harvesting and plant pruning! My only complaint is that the sliding plastic locking knob is not robust enough to last - it no longer locks closed because the plastic retainer tab is worn or broken off. Whimpy lock! Otherwise excellent.

I've always used regular scissors or a paring knife, but these really work well to maneuver around the rose bush and trim spent blooms, or blooms for a vase.

Awesome shears. Used them on some pretty sappy plants and the sap built up pretty quickly but some rubbing alcohol took it right off. The spring assist is great too.
