Our Pup's Toy Has Lasted!
Our 5-year-old shepherd LOVES her new "baby", and she hasn't destroyed this one yet! It's lasted the longest of any of her previous cloth toys and she's been very mouthy with it! I'm very pleased there is no stuffing to spread throughout the house, or for her to ingest. The squeaker in the tail was a surprising bonus for her, too. She's acting like a new, energized puppy! Very happy with this purchase.

Exactly what I was looking for
I needed to find a toy that very closely matched what my dog had before. This was almost perfect. I can’t say it would hold up to an aggressive dog because it wouldn’t but for me it was perfect.

Dog loves
My dog loves this toy and so far he’s unable to tear it up. He is able to tear a squeaker out and that’s it. No more piles of stuffing around.

Our dog loves the toy but the squeakers didn't last long at all.
Our dog Amos, a 10lb terrier/chihuahua mix, absolutely loves this thing. We play tug-of-war with it and he like chasing it when tossed more than some of his other toys. The fabric seems to stand up to his abuse better than some other toys we've tried. Unfortunately he killed the squeakers in a matter of days whereas the squeakers in some of this other toys lasted quite a bit longer. Not sure if I'll get another one when he finishes this one off or try something else.

Mess-Free Dog Toy
I've purchased two of these toys for my two large malamute-mixes. The first one I purchased in October. With rigorous play it lasted until December. Then I bought another one as a Christmas present for the pups just recently. Both of my dogs have different tastes in toys. Rascal, my big boy, likes anything that squeaks and can be torn apart. Coho, the complete opposite- a very picky girly girl, prefers to hunt things. She only likes toys with fur that she can chase. With that being said they both absolutely love playing tug-o-war with each other. It's the one game they both enjoy. This toy covers all aspects of both dogs. Rascal can squeak the squeaker in the head and tail. He can also tear the toy apart. Coho can chase the toy around and 'hunt' the fury creature. And they can both play tug-o-war with it against each other. What's really unique about this toy is that there is no stuffing. It's made of faux fur (I'd rather see a real fur one, as real fur is digestible for dogs but faux fur is not- and bits of this toy have been accidently swallowed). Once torn apart- which took both of my dogs working together about a week to accomplish, there are two squeaky toys sewn inside. For larger dogs these are small enough to swallow so you will need to supervise your dog when playing with this toy. Once the squeakers are removed you will have to discard of them. The soft fur-like material really keeps my dogs engaged. They are constantly fighting over it. Running and stealing it from each other. They are very big, very strong dogs who can play tug-o-war like a pro. So the fact that this toy held up with both of these dogs for two months is a feat to be accomplished. It did begin to rip in half after a month of play- but then the two separate pieces became toys of their own and they continue to rip and tear the toy apart until it was left in about 4 inch pieces all over the house. 90% of the time they didn't swallow the pieces. But on occasion Rascal did not want to give up his piece to Coho- so instead of setting it down he just swallowed it. Luckily he has a man's digestive system and popped it out. But like I said before, real fur would be a better option in my mind. Most of the toys I buy my dogs are made with digestible fur or leather. Faux fur is plastic- so it can't be digested. Just a thought in case your dog tends to eat his toys as well. When this toy begins to tear I suggest taking small pieces away as they are ripped off. This toy really isn't a fetch toy. It's mainly for chewing and tug-o-war. The sewn-quality is amazing. It really did hold up fantastically. I was amazed at how long this toy lasted. Most of my dog toys are thrown out in a week or two. This lasted two months with both of my pups actively playing with it. For it's durability and universal-play opportunities I would hands down say this is a 5 star toy and would recommend it to people with large-breed dogs.

Great toy
I have purchased four of these; first one purchased 12/21/2019 is still in use by my Boston terrier; second one purchased 3/6/2022; lasted about two weeks and Boston destroyed it; third one purchased 11/28/2022; is still in good condition as of 1/19/2023; fourth one purchased 11/28/2022 is for future use. Second one was junk and should have been replaced.

Holds up to my mega-chewer dog
My dog loves to destroy soft, cute toys (the cuter the toy, the worse it gets). She chews the squeaker like crazy and brings the toy to me to play tug-o-war at least twice a day.She tore off the ears and horns of the giraffe in a few weeks but the rest of it is in good shape and is holding up very well to the tugging power of a 50 lb sheherd.

Skinneeez Squirrel, Large
I bought my mum's two dogs this for christmas but decided to leave it a few months before doing a review so here goes, now mum has a boy jack russell; bramble and a girl yorkie; rosie who are both robust little dogs and love chewing and shaking their toys. They are stuffing free so you don't have to worry about it coming out or about them swallowing it, there are no eyes for them to chew off and swallow as they are sewn on. They are a nice long shape for them to carry around and shake and will bring out their hunting instincts, there are two squeakers either end which dogs love. Mum rescued a pomeranian; holly just after christmas who also loves playing with toys, so as you can imagine toys get a fair bit of stick in mum's house. It is now april and this toy is still going strong, yes the feet have had a good chewing but the body and tail have not come apart despite the numerous games of tug of war, and the squeakers still work! I can recommend this toy and give it five stars as it will keep your dog/dogs entertained for hours.

Great for destructive dogs
This is probably the 6th Skinneez squirrel I have bought for my two dobermans in the last three years, not including the racoon and other animal teddy types they make.My two dogs love furry toys but due to the chemicals used in most cuddly toys they were never allowed to play with them as they are very destructive. My dogs can destroy a teddy bear within 1 minute of being handed it, the skinneez do get damaged and eventually get thrown away but last at least a month or more before they have no life left in them. The squeekers are always the first thing to go as I think that's what the dog focuses on mainly but it's not long before they are running around with what looks like a scrap of fabric. I throw away the squeekers once the wear and tear starts to open the fabric.I know when I buy these they aren't going to last forever and they are mainly birthday or christmas presents. Just seeing their faces light up when I get them one is worth the cost of watching them go silly for a furry toy.Brilliant toy which I will continue to buy.

Fantastic toy
My dog (mini schnauzer) stopped playing two years ago when she became seriously ill and I haven't been able to persuade her to play since, despite a huge box of toys. THIS however has changed things! Known as "Where is it!", from the moment she unwrapped it at Christmas she goes absolutely bonkers for it. She'll play with it and me for ten minutes at a time, and the beauty of it is that it doesn't exacerbate her spinal injury. Stuffing free toys for terrier/ratters are definitely the way to go....I can see her thinking she's caught it and killed it over and over again. This floppy piece of fur is making her a more relaxed dog and noticeably improving our bond.
