What a great bread knife!!! I pulled out my old bread maker during this pandemic and started baking bread again I was looking for a bread knife what wouldn't mangle my bread an even when I'm slicing it warm and this is it!! I wasn't looking for a cutting board but with the knife storage design built into board (nice safety feature) I couldn't resist. Buy this you won't be sorry.

This product is well built and cuts bread straight. I do not need inch thick bread so you place the knife where you want it cut. It is even wide enough to cut bagels in the middle.

I love the look of this cutting board and knife but unfortunately the serrated knife is not very strong and it often does not cut a loaf of bread as the blade is slightly too short. Sometimes it takes a long time to actually cut through completely and one loses time pushing the blade down and cutting a piece of bread off a loaf.Disappointed because the wood is beautiful and the product looks great but unfortunately not very functional.
