I was so excited for this - to use for oatmeal or soup or grain bowl, etc - but it wasn't what I had expected. It does not say this in the Amazon description, but the inner food portion of the "16 oz" container - the "prep" container hold 1 cup of food!! not sure of the purpose, maybe salad dressing? - it's TEENIE TINY. So I've concluded that the utility of this item is really just as a thermos (I can't imagine when I'd use that inner "prep" container).. If you buy the larger size "21 oz container" then the inside food prep container is 14 oz.

We expected this to perform to the same standard as the s'well bottles we have. This does not perform to that same standard. We put food, heated to boiling, and when eating it 2.5 hours later it was just warm. We tested multiple foods, soup and oatmeal. Both had the same results. It's OK but in the end we are disappointed with the product. We have similar items from competitors that perform much better.

Problem 1 - Comes with plastic inserts.Problem 2 - Glass inserts are only sold in sets of 4. If I buy 1 container why do I NEED 4 inserts.Problem 3 - Not exactly leak proof since the insert lids do not lock.Problem 4 - Heat retention is so-so.Problem 5 - Impossible to heat food in microwave (see below).Problem 6 - Food must be heated in glass or plastic insert before placing in container.Problem 7 - Glass/plastic insert gets hot and cannot be safely handled to remove from microwave or insert into container.Problem 8 - Mediocre customer service and the customer pays for return shipping.Solution - Porter tight seal bowls. They are glass, microwave safe and are designed with silicone covers (so you don't burn your hands taking them out of the microwave), and are leak proof.Really wanted to love this but cannot recommend. May be good for small salads but even then it is too bulky to carry for a small side salad.

I love the concept but it did not keep my food warm. It is a pain taking it in and out but I love that you can take it out and warm it up if needed. Too expensive.

I must say this little container inside is a lot smaller than the actual bowl itself. I couldn’t fit my Campbell’s soup completely inside. Discouraged I still took it to work and to my surprise the soup stayed warm for hours without me needing to re-heat before lunchtime so that was a bonus. I recommend buying the optional additional bowls if you’re not on some 800 calorie diet

Very disappointed. I swear by S’well bottles but this does not meet their standards. I heated my food above an eating temperature only to have it luke warm a few hours later. I will be asking for a refund.

Aren’t perfect but are good. Don’t hold heat or cold for over 6 hours for sure. Use it only for insulation so it does not get condensation on the inside of whatever I’m carrying food in. Stylish and cute, cool and easy to use. I just can’t give them a 5 star because of the not super keeping the temperature in. But although I’ve never just used the metal itself so perhaps it would work better like that but the prep bowl are easier to grab and go. Also I wish the inner containers were glass and not plastic. I know the plastic is dishwasher and microwave safe but I’m always hesitant to put plastic in the microwave.

Really impressed with this product. The inner compartment is perfect for my breakfast. I make scrambled egg around 7:30AM before leaving home but usually do not want to eat breakfast until 10:00AM. When I have my breakfast, my eggs still hot (not piping hot, but good temp). The inner plastic container is just the right size for my needs. I also discovered that a small mason jar fits in the container too. It is easy to clean and works well

Although this is quite expensive for the size, it is worth the money. Keeps my lunch warm for hours and looks lovely too!

I got the largest one.How ever the inner container reduces the volume the flask can actually hold. Very misleading. Returning
