Screws too short and impossible to find
I attempted to install this product on a 3/4" hardwood with 1" dimensional lumber subfloor. The kit does not provide sufficient length screws and the seller and manufacturer do not provide a way to request longer screws. They do not provide the technical details needed to find aftermarket screws.My local hardware stores do not carry a 6/32 screw with countersunk head that is 2" or longer.After spending hours searching stores, contacting the seller and asking the forum I decided to buy parts online. I have a $25 order being shipped which *may* let me finish this multi-week installation.If it works, I will update and share the info here for any other poor unfortunate soul who happens to fall into this trap.
