NEJLSD Pattern Notcher Stainless Steel Tailors Proofing Sewing Pliers Pattern Marking Tools (Type O)

This review is for the NEJLSD Pattern Notcher Stainless Steel Tailors Proofing Sewing Pliers . The notcher works OK but you have to tilt it over and dump the paper that has accumulated on the top so you can see the knotch hole after 1 or 2 notches. I also found the handle to be too short and that makes it uncomfortable to use after about 20 holes. Overall though for the price, I'm willing to put up with the issues. If you are going to do a lot of notching, you may want to consider something better.

I've had this pattern notcher for 4 months exactly now. I thought I'd already written a review on it, but apparently not, so now is a good time. I've had trouble with it cutting on one side and have taken shallower cuts to get clean cuts. But now it's completely not cutting on that one side. I would not buy it again for that short of life.

First one I bought broken within a week. Second one broke after one day! Piece of crap.

Why is it, people who break/destroy items never put this information in the review (i.e just what were you doing when the item broke) they are bashing someone's product. They just put down this unit is horrible/junk/crap etc, this reflects a low IQ, to me. To have someone break a steel unit on a piece of cloth they have to be doing something stupidly wrong. I find my product to function proper when DIRECTIONS ARE FOLLOWED.

Wanted a tool to help make those snips in fabric seams to alleviate thickness and for a neat flat seam....and this item, so far, is working for me when making face masks. A great time saver!
