One of the few ice packs that actually stays cold and provides relief. Well made. Large size is great for lower back, thigh and neck areas. Place it between you and a firm pillow while in bed to keep in place for lower back or neck area. Very cold. But you get used to it. The ice cold therapy is very good for pain relief after an acute injury.

I really like this cold pack !, it is so convenient to use ...I found it excellent for my shoulder and neck pain because it covers so well the areas where I need to apply it to on my body...I use it on other areas as well , when I hurt my knee recently, it just covers alot of area, even my lower back when I needed to ...It's a great cold pack and worth the money ...

Works very well. I use it cold and put it in the freezer. The amazing thing is that it gets cold but not stiff. It is big enough to cover the whole lower back. Quality is excellent.

Used this on my lower back after physical therapy three days per week and they were awesome.

I am older and broke my shoulder. I have never used cold therapy before but in Physical therapy they said it would be good. Someone recommended a cold pac. This one is excellent! It is kind of heavy and so it doesn't move around when using it. the gel inside is soft so it is very comfortable. I either use it in a pillow case or make sure I have sleeves on because it does get quite cold. I also like the large size. I would recommend this!

Great product, super cold when it comes out of the freezer, very malleable even when fresh from the freezer. The only down side is that there's not enough gel to keep it cold longer. I would say it realistically stays cold for about 15-20 minutes. I prefer extreme cold to sore muscles, but this is probably a healthier/safer temp.

As part of cool therapy after ACL surgery I have used several different ice wraps and even Ossur system provided by my insurance. So far this black sack (Back Support Systems Cold Ice Pack Wrap (11" x 14") is my favorite. It is literally cold and comfortable, also stays cold for long enough time. and easy to use. if it is too cold for uncovered skin, just place the sack in a pillowcase.
