The sheathing rivet came undone and exposed what the chain is really made out of, Very thin metal links Attached to the beefier outer links making it appear that’s what the entire chain is made of. Super super lame. 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. Original Review: I was actually looking for a shorter chain lock to wrap around my seat post so this was perfect. The description says about 31” in length which is about right. I was expecting a cheap lock and chain but the lock itself is really heavy and feels very durable. The chain feels like it’ll do it’s job to deter your neighborhood thief, harder to cut than a cable I would suspect but pretty light still. The sleeve says “made in China” which is lame but for 15$ I’m pretty stoked on this lock much more than my old 4 digit cable lock. My only real concern is the pins inside the lock seem pretty loose and move a little too freely for my taste but I’m hopeful it’ll continue to operate for some time. Again, $15. Beefy enough. compact. Just buy it.

The entire outside of the sheath has "Made in China" embroidered into the cloth sheath in 1" block letters... The chain hidden inside the sheath is much smaller than the 2 end links that are shown in the pictures. It won't take much for a thief to cut through this chain...

Ok, I swear you could almost break this lock with your bare hands, They are poorly made and very difficult to lock and unlock. I can almost guarantee that if you lock your bike using one of these locks your bike will get stolen .

I returned these. Very thin cheap chains and the locks are way more difficult to use than they should be!
