SkyGenius Battery Operated Stroller Fan, Rechargeable USB Powered Mini Clip on Desk Fan

Works great. Battery life is spectacular. Fan does is adjusted by pressing the only button on the back of the unit. This also turns the fan off and on. Sequence is On - low - medium - high - Off The fan looks and feels little bit cheaply made, but has proven itself to be sturdy enough. After a couple of drops (rather, my toddler kicking it off of the stroller), the battery cover has popped off nearly every time, and the 18650 battery has popped out as well once or twice. The cover over the fan blades on the front has also popped off. All have managed to remain intact and are readily reassembled by snapping back together easily. As far as hooking it to a stroller goes, the clip is strong enough and clamps down well enough, but I don't think it would work well on strollers with round bars (not enough clamping force). The only real downside I see is that it didn't come with a charger, but this is no big deal as we have plenty of micro USB chargers laying around unused. Worth every penny.

This works wonder. We clip onto the car seat handle. We’ve walked outside in about 90 degrees and it helps keeps the baby cool. In the car it helps circulate the air to the baby. I love how you can change the angle. The downside is the battery only lasted about 2 hrs on the lowest setting. The battery is rechargeable, you can recharge it via micro USB from the fan unit. I opted out on charging the battery from the fan, I have a battery charger for 18650 batteries, so I prefer to use that. It also charges faster. I purchased two more 18650 batteries that work perfect for the fan for a day out at the lake.

Does what it’s supposed to but the sticker on the back left a sticky residue so I used goo gone to remove the sticky material and it somehow melted and warped the battery cover (plastic piece). Also, after charging this for most of the day...I unplugged it to use and it doesn’t work. Pretty disappointed. Update: customer service reached out to me after my above review and offered to refund me for my purchase or send a replacement. I opted for the replacement hoping for a better experience the second time around. The fan has been working brilliantly and the battery lasts a pretty long time. Happy with the product and the great customer service. Just don’t try to remove the label/warning on the back of the fan and you’ll be good as gold.

The first one I received had a faulty battery but they replaced my unit the very next day. So thank you for that! This is a great little fan —pretty quiet and the battery lasts a good while. My ONLY gripe is that the clip is a unstable on my car seat (handle or base). Maybe it’s only meant to attach to an actual stroller and not the car seat? I use this fan on my baby’s car seat IN my jogging stroller to keep baby girl comfortable. I have had to adjust the clip several times because it FALLS off. Luckily the fan hasn’t hit her! Maybe it’ll only work on the stroller itself... Just be aware.

I'd like this fan for my desk even if it didn't have a battery. It ran all through my workday without me even noticing that I forgot to plug it in. Let's talk about that power usage. Right now it's running on max (I usually run it on low), after having run all day on its battery. I plugged it in and it's drawing 1.33 amps. Turning it off, 0.81 of those amps are going towards charging the battery I accidentally drained. This thing consumes almost no power, blows strongly, and is silent. My one and only nitpick is that the button on the back could be more prominent. It's a little tricky to find by feel. I only mention it because it's so hard to find anything negative to write about this fan and I want people to know that I'm a real user writing a real review. --- Update 6/5/2020: With the battery fully charged and plugged in to power the fan draws a bit under 800mA at top speed, and only 210mA on low.

I've used this fan at work to keep cool and it's been excellent for that task. The clip is strong and can hold the fan at any angle. I've only used it as a powered fan so far, and I've also had to have it replaced once when the USB connector broke off and fell inside the unit. While it is possible that this is a design flaw, it's equally possible that it was damaged when I put it in my bag and did not unplug the USB cable. Either way, be careful if you are going to be using the connection often, as I will. The manufacturer was quick to offer a replacement or full refund for the broken fan, as well. Despite my leeriness of the USB port, I'd still highly recommend this fan, both for the value and the great customer service. Update: June 6th, 2021: The second fan's USB port broke, as well. As a battery-powered fan, it's great. It won't quite last a whole 10-11 hour shift at work, but with an extra charged battery it could easily last you an entire day on battery power alone. Just be aware that unless the fan is going to be constantly plugged in, the weak connection on the USB port will eventually fail and you'll need a charger that can charge 18650 batteries. While I'm not thrilled at having to buy a two port universal battery charger (I already have two four port Eneloop chargers for the standard AA and AAAs I use and they work perfectly), the fan itself provides plenty of airflow even on the lowest setting. When you factor in the cost of 1-3 extra batteries and the charger, along with the hassle of constantly needing to charge them separately and swap them out, it's difficult for me to recommend this product, but I can't deny in all other respects it's a fine product. I think if I needed to run it on higher than the lowest setting, I'd avoid the product entirely, as that would drain the battery faster and require more spares to be carried around to keep it running.

Love this lil fan better then others has many speeds

I bought a couple of other little fans, one that was a clip on and another that you can sit on a table or place on a hook, but I like this clip-on fan much better. It not only has a rechargeable battery, which is better than constantly replacing regular batteries (or even regular rechargeable batteries) but it also has three speeds which the other two fans I bought did not. My only complaints are that when you have it blowing on you, the noise is a little constant annoyance (it's fairly high pitched in comparison to the other fans) and I don't think the charge lasts as long as is the claim. That being said, I liked this fan so much I bought a second one. It's super convenient to have a portable fan, because I can clip it in the back seat for my dogs on super hot days; hang it on my umbrella while I enjoy my patio; clip it on my desk when I need a little air circulation; and so much more. The versatility of a fan like this is endless and it is pretty powerful for it's size. I was impressed with the three speeds and the strength of the air movement created by such a small fan. It definitely outperformed my other two similar fans I purchased prior to this model.
