This water drain is beautiful, you can fill it with any mosaic you have. It looks beautiful in the shower and the water drains easily through it. It is made of a very strong material, and I think it is a good purchase for its price.

I think this is a great product... is well made, and would work fine in a 3" floor assembly as shown in the installation diagram provided with the listing. I however, wanted to try and "retrofit" an existing floor subassembly with only 1" height available... and I couldn't figure out how to make this work for me. If there were a "Low Profile" version (and maybe there is and I just didn't see it with what Amazon put in front of me while searching): I'd like togive THAT a go. I think I could have "made this work" if there was a perimeter 1-2" metal tab all the way around the top, and a taller insert. That way I could mount it into the subfloor plywood, cover/glue the shower membrane to the top of it. Unequivecally draining the full tile assembly, even if there were some caulk or grout failure. Hey! Maybe an idea for a new product? Again, nice product, just not for me at the moment. If I ever get to build something NEW for myself, I'll take a look at these again.

So beautiful and clean look. Easy to clean and durable material

Love the appearance of the “hidden” drain. Makes the tile look so nice without a big bold drain in the middle of the shower. The hair catcher it comes with is nice, but it does fill up fast and you have to empty it often, otherwise the drain will back up - that is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Sometimes it takes a minute to catch up and start draining properly, even when it’s not overly full. Also don’t forget to pick it up and clean under it. It can get a little gross bc it’s an “out of sight out of mind” kinda thing. My tile guys had no issues installing it. They seemed familiar with the style, even though it was something new to me!

Excelente producto, requiere limpieza constante (por lo menos 1 vez al mes) ya que el cabello que cae se acumula en la parte inferior y despues genera que no selle bien el tapón del drenaje, lo que ocasiona que los olores desagradables de drenaje se regresan . no es un defecto esta coladera, creo que cualquier coladera de este tipo de diseño provocaría lo mismo, coladeras alargadas favoresen esa acumulación, tamibién se genera hongo por el jabón que se queda pegado abajo. Para limpiar se levanta la coladera y se lava bien por debajo, suelo aprovechar cuando me baño para hacer esa limpieza 1 vez al mes. La ventaja con esta coladera es que permite colocar marmol o loseta para dar continuidad al piso, y lucen muy bien puestas!

Very happy with this shower drain. Looks fantastic in my shower. I recommend getting a size the will fill the width of your shower to collect as much water as possible. I haven't had any issues with it clogging. The quality is good and I think this will last a long time.

We purchased SaniteModar 6” square shower drain for our basement tile shower project . We are very impressed with it for the price . It was really easy to install and we found that setting the tile to avoid lipage easy also . The material is well finished and comparable to other drain at triple the price. I really like how easy it is to removed the drain cover and the hair strainer basket is an awesome touch. We liked this option for all hair from my daughter & wife , hopefully we save some time unclogging drains. The square hole pattern matches lots of available shelves and other hardware . Recommend to anyone doing a tile shower project looking for a high quality square drain.
