Pricey, but a real backsaver.
Love it. Mounted on a cheaper Lifetime brand kayak. Needed additional homemade backing plates for stability. Check out examples on youtube. Takes about 20 uses before legs slide in/out smoothly. Best upgrade yet. Get it!

Quality
One of the knuckles is not finished inside and it is more difficult to get the landing gear leg in and out of it compared to the other side with the black finish in it.

Don’t do it!
Absolute waste of money! The new design is horrible. Almost impossible to get the legs in and out of the bar. Don’t even use it because of this.

Beware of cracking your kayak.
It is a unique design. But be very careful with weight on your kayak with this assembly on it. Mine cracked on both sides where rail is anchored to 106 Old Towne. I had battery and light amount of tackle when it cracked. Need to add sufficient back plate on under side to make it more robust
