Reading it for class....
....so because of that I find this book useful and informative. I likely won't refer back to this after my class ends but it could be helpful in the future. Thanks for the quick delivery!

Might be useful for a complete beginner
I had to buy this book for a practicum in my graduate program in education. I don't find it super helpful because I've already done several research projects, so all the ideas that introduces are basically familiar to me from past experience regardless of not having had formal training in the topic. For someone who was a complete novice, It would probably provide a good outline of how to go about a research project in education. The premises that teachers should be evaluating their own teaching and conducting 'action research' in order to improve their teaching.

Thoughtful and important
This is more than a how to do teacher inquiry although it does that very well. In guiding teachers towards effective teacher inquiry, it raises important issues about teachers' voices being heard, about teachers having a stronger role in the reform of educational policy, and of making teaachers agents rather than subjects of educational reform.
