Although it's more expensive than other brands, per shave, it's way cheaper actually. I'd say it's the best I used and I used very many.

I have used them all including domestic made shaving soaps and creams. There is no comparison. I shave every day with a straight razor which is a throw back to days of old. This is the only cream I would use because it is thick and slick when coupled with a pre shave lubricant and when whipped up with a proper brush. It is much better than anything in an aerosol can by far. One tub lasts me over 6 months shaving daily. It’s a good value.

I have tried Trumper and some of the other English shave creams… this one is the best. Much better than any Gillette product or any aerosol product.

Great shaving cream for legs, but smells like floral baby powder

I love the subtle classic scent, great lather ( a little goes a long way), and excellent protection. For the price you cannot beat this cream. While it is not an elite performer like Castle Forbes or Al’s Shaving, it is half the price of those and lasts as long and performs at a high level.

It’s a quality cream that specializes in being slick, but for me it pales in comparison to creams like Castle Forbes, Truefitt & Hill and even TOBS, which is less expensive

As is the case with every Geo. F. Trumper product I've tried this shaving cream doesn't disappoint. Open the lid and this glistening shaving cream will greet you with a refreshing citrus aroma. It's not my favorite Trumper scent, not as wonderful as the rose or as stimulating as the sandalwood but it is a nice happy, refreshing scent. The performance as with the other Trumper varieties is unrivaled. You will enjoy pure shaving pleasure, a smooth silky shave as your razor glides over your face. Great glide, cushioning and skin protection for a super close shave (make sure you use a real razor not some expensive and useless 5 blade MachDreck toy). I recommend a single edge injector razor). Rinse with cold water and your skin feels glassy smooth and pleasant. Use a bit of Trumper's Skin Food for the full luxury shave experience (I also dab a bit of Trumper's Skin Tonic before the Skin Food for even more comfort). My only criticism would be the labeling used on the GFT variety. I enjoy the more retro looking design on the Rose and Sandalwood. However this certainly doesn't detract from the fine shave.

I've been a hard shaving soap user for 35 years. I tried the cream tube soap recently, and found it is a definite step up in the quality of the shave, but also a step up in cost. A typical cake of hard shaving soap lasts me nearly 3 months of daily use. Expect roughly 3-weeks of use with one tube of shaving cream used sparingly (small dab of cream in an empty shave bowl, then whip up with wet shaving brush). The cream is "greaser" than hard shave soap, so the razor glides better. The fact that the product is contained in a closed airless metal tube means that the fragrance of the last shave is the same as the first shave. This contrasts with the hard shave soap cake, that loses its fragrance in about a week or two. I've tried the Limes and Roses fragrance. I could care less about fragrance, but I like the Limes better than Roses as it is fresher and less obtrusive. If you are a fragrance fan, your choice might be different.

Numero UNO!Molto facile, per me, scrivere una recensione, dato che non è la prima (e nemmeno la seconda) volta che la acquisto: se cercate una VERA crema da barba, questa è LA MIGLIORE in assoluto. Io ne ho provate veramente molte (inglesi, italiane, spagnole, portoghesi, etc. etc. etc.), ma sopra a questa non c'è nulla. Ha una resa doppia rispetto alla media (ne basta pochissima e rimarrete stupiti da cosa è in grado di fare), e fa il suo dovere in modo impeccabile! La definirei una crema da barba "concreta" (e ve lo dice uno che ha la barba grossa e dura). E' una "triple milled", con una cura estrema di ogni particolare: tutto è eccellente. Dall'emolienza, all'efficacia di rasatura, alla profumazione veramente degna di nota e mai banale. Ovvio che, su quest'ultimo punto, scatta il gusto personale: io ho provato sandalwood, coconut oil, lime e GFT, e sono tutte ottime fragranze, con una nota di originalità (a mio gusto la più interessante è la sandalwood, anche se di poco sopra alle altre). Alla fine della gradevolissima e facilissima rasatura vi ritroverete con la pelle morbida, idratata e gradevolmente profumata. Volendo trovare una spina a questa rosa direi che il prezzo non è proprio basso: se, ad esempio, non vi trovate nel mio caso di "necessità" rispetto ad una barba resistente, potrete facilmente rivolgervi ad altri prodotti che magari hanno una qualità poco inferiore ed un costo sensibilmente ridotto. Io stesso la alterno ad un altro ottimo sapone solido italiano che pagai circa 10 euro per 1kg e che è di poco inferiore come efficacia, ma che non ha la stessa fragranza di questa. Però... se state leggendo la mia recensione vuol dire che siete interessati a QUESTO tipo di prodotto, per cui il mio consiglio non può che essere: compratela senza esitazione! E' un lusso che vale la pena di concedersi. Magari partite da un tubetto da 75 gr. prima di passare al "boccione", così testate la fragranza. E buona rasatura a tutti. :-)

Producto con buena relación precio/calidad, para ser producto de importación inglés, la consistencia es la adecuada para el rasurado diario y lo mas interesante es el olor a cítricos que es discreto y para nada estridente, siento que deja la piel suave post rasurado. Con respecto al tiempo de entrega fue el adecuado pero el empaque de cartón llega algo maltratado aunque el frasco de plástico esta íntegro y con la crema al destaparlo un poco mal distribuida.
