I’m a mechanic
As a mechanic with over a decade of experience, I believe in maintaining my vehicles with nothing but the very best. I always stick with factory filters because they consistently deliver superior performance. While other brands like Wix and Mobile One are decent, a factory filter will always be my go-to for reliability and effectiveness.I also swear by Seafoam—using it both in my tank with every oil change and adding it to the oil before changing. I perform a fuel system service every 30,000 to 40,000 miles, proving that meticulous maintenance and fuel economy are paramount for me.I drive a full-size V8 truck, so I know firsthand that fuel economy isn’t naturally stellar. That’s why I change my oil every 5,000 miles, regardless of what any brand claims. Once I switched to Mobile One’s fuel economy version, I saw a noticeable improvement of 0.4 mpg. I also choose non-ethanol 91 octane fuel; ethanol is corrosive, diminishes both mpg and power, and contains about 33% less power per gallon than pure gasoline. While my truck calls for 87 octane fuel, I use 91 octane, using a higher octane grade helps reduce ping and knock (even though I’ve never experienced these issues) and delivers a slight boost in power when towing. In short, I do everything possible to maximize both mpg and performance—and for me, nothing beats quality maintenance.

Top-Tier Synthetic Oil That Delivers Performance and Efficiency
As someone who values both vehicle performance and long-term engine health, I've found Mobil 1's Advanced Fuel Economy 0W-20 to be a standout choice.WHAT I APPRECIATE:Enhanced Fuel Efficiency: The low-viscosity formulation is designed to improve fuel economy, which I've noticed during my daily commutes.Extended Protection: Mobil 1 claims up to 10,000 miles between oil changes, and in my experience, the oil maintains its integrity throughout.Engine Cleanliness: The Triple Action Formula helps prevent sludge and deposits, keeping my engine running smoothly.Temperature Performance: Whether in the heat of summer or the cold of winter, this oil provides reliable start-up protection.CONSIDERATIONS:Price Point: While it's a premium product, the performance benefits justify the cost for me.BOTTOM LINE:Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0W-20 is a high-quality synthetic oil that offers tangible benefits in fuel efficiency and engine protection. It's a worthwhile investment for those serious about vehicle maintenance.

Great Oil for Your Mercedes Benz
Probably the best oil you can buy. Have been using this in my 2007 MB ML500. I have also used Valvoline and Castrol. All synthetic oil. Can go wrong with this. It has the right rating for my SUV. Have been changing the oil every 10k miles. Yes I know I should be doing it more frequently than the MB recommends (5k). So far it has made it to 210k miles and still going strong. No major engine malfunction. Unfortunately, it leaks some oil but would likely cost more to fix than to continue to add oil. Small puff of blue smoke on startup is something that recently popped up. Can it make it to 300k? Who knows!

The engine will last longer than the vehicle.
I have used Mobil 1 5w30 on my current 2015 Tacoma and my previous vehicle, which was a 2006 Tacoma. I had great success using Mobil 1 Extended Performance my 2006 4.0L. The engine oil, at 238K miles was dark but not black after that many miles. I had purchased the 2006 truck brand new. There was no issues with the engine at all. In fact, the only reason I traded in the 06 Tacoma was due to a transmission issue. Nothing to do with the engine or it's oil.My current truck is getting close to 100k and the oil I use in it is Mobil 1 Extended Performance. Use a good filter too, it can only help.Remember, it's a lot cheaper to pay for good oil than to pay for a replacement engine.

The Best Synthetic Oil Made!
Mobil 1 is my go-to for synthetic oil. My 2014 Ford F150 5.0 V8 uses 5W20 and I do my own oil and filter changes every 6,000 miles. I use 7 qt of Mobil 1 mixed with 1 qt of Lucas Oil Conditioner. I’m at 195,000 miles and going strong as new. I have to attribute that partially due to the exclusive use of Mobil 1 synthetic oil. I will never use anything else.

Oil moves fast when cold and still provides 40 viscosity
Great for my turbo diesel W123. 0W viscosity means it circulates fast when cold. I spent some time speaking with a Mobil-1 representative because this was suggested for my car on the website. I was a little concerned about the 0w and he fully explained the numbering system and this is still a 40 viscosity oil at running temperatures. I have been using it for 7 years and my car loves it. A million miles left to go in this car.

Good price/ quality but Difficult to check oil
This is a good quality oil for the viscosity that the car requires, and the price is great, BUT because this oil is completely clear, you will have a hard time checking the oil for the first 500-1000 miles since it won't show on many car's shiny metal dipsticks due to being totally clear. After that the oil turns brownish and becomes more visible on the dipstick.

Great oil for an older vehicle
Exactly what I need in my old 2004 Tahoe. It has over 193111 miles and runs like new. Best lubricant for the money and the only engine noise I hear is the sound of my V8 running right and getting away at the light real fast.
