Solid Pants!!
Got these as part of my 'generic dude' outfit to test out gender stuff, it masks my hips and thighs well if I keep them at my hip, though the pockets jut out a bit when I put them at my hip. They fit like a glove when I pull them to my waist though, I don't even need a belt!Great pockets, the hammer holder is sturdy, and while the pants are a little long I think that was due to me sizing them wrong, i just cuff them and call it a day.

Long
I'm a girl that's got short legs and the pants are long i obviously knew this would happen but the waist fits good, material is good, flexible, looks good, baggy. if you had thicker legs the thigh parts might get a little tight

Great for Construction
My oldest works outside for construction in Dallas and the heat and temps, winds he says are in eatable at times. However these pants are light and breathable for him

Mixed feelings
I have mixed feelings about these pants. The quality is excellent. The material is fairly heavy duty. I haven't worn any holes or torn anything. I like the tool pockets. They allow me to carry tools, cell phone, multitool, etc... However, you can only get these in loose fit. So, while the waist is fitting right, everything below is loose. What is holding your pants up is only the waist. My waist is smaller than my hips and I also wear a belt, so the waist rubs somewhat on my hips. And I don't like baggy pants. Hey Carharrt, at least give us the option of a relaxed fit.

Comfortable
The jeans fit perfectly. I bend, crawl, walk, run, kneel daily. This is the third pair I have bought. The first two were two years ago and just now starting to fall apart. I do heavy commercial construction. So two years from work pants is really good. A definite must have.

I wish they had 31'' length.
I love these pants, they are almost perfect, except one thing - there is no 31". 30" is too short, 32" is too long for me. Please make 31'" length, and i will buy 10 pcs of them. Every time i have to buy these pants with 32" length and then every time i have to make some length alterations with a help of the local tailor. It's quite expensive and takes a lot of my time, so please, PLEASE make 31" length option! Will buy again, anyway - they are sturdy, love the color, side pockets are flat and very handy, fits good, and of course the best part - they are not slim fit. I hate slim fit pants, they are horrible, so thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the relaxed fit pants.

Nice Material
After several sizing failures with Amazon Essential Pants I opted for these as they have always been spot on with sizing. The length seems a bit long but fit well otherwise. The fabric is sturdy and feel like they will outlast the other brand I have purchased.

Both good and bad
The Bad:These are basically grampa pants. To wear them property, they need to be pulled up over the belly button. Like 4 inches above it... Granted I don't see anyone ever wearing them that way, but that's how they are designed. So instead, everyone will have 7 feet of excessive crotch space. There was an active decision on that, and I would have loved to be in room when that was decided. Because of this design, you'll have to get a bigger waste size than normal. If you're 34x36 like me then a 36x36 is for you. Frankly, no one will wear them like grampa pants you could get a 36x34 because the inseam doesn't start where it should, so it'll still fit. Pick your poison, they still look ok.The Good:The material feels solid and is a good color/hue. I haven't had them long enough to see to what extent they'll last with light use.The maybe good or maybe bad:They breath almost as well as plastic bags. If you work outside in the heat, expect a heatstroke. They will be wonderful in the winter tho.

Buy at least one size up
Well made work pantsLegs are baggy but that way they don’t pinch the skin when you crouchThick material so very good when you go about clearing your lotThe waist is on the very tight size. I wear size 38, and after reading other reviews I ordered size 40 and it is limit. If I need another pair I will go for size 42However the seat is generous so no « plumber crack » when bending downI am not a tradesman, so I don’t wear a tool belt so the tight fit means the waist doesn’t go down when you load the pockets.

Calidad . De las mejores.
Me quedo un poco grande. Pero fue mi culpa por pedir mal la talla. La tela es excelente. Las costuras… muy buen pantalon para cualquier tipo de trabajo.

Well made and true to size
These pants are a rare beast - the size is what it says on the packet! I had to go to size 36 in jeans because so many 38s are oversized, by as much as 2-3". Nicely made, with deep pockets and quite warm given the relatively thick twill. They do feel to be slightly longer in the leg than the nominal 32". From reading reviews this appear to be common with Carhartt jeans and trousers, but the important part is that they're true to size in the waist. Unlike most jeans they need ironing after washing. I always wash with dark wash liquid and line dry. Given the generous cut of the legs it took a little while get used to the trouser legs swishing as I walked, but that extra volume comes in handy when you're doing handyman work. Made in Nicaragua. I'm very pleased with my first ever Carhartt item of clothing, even better I got it at a fabulous price.
