I gave this 5/5 for "scent". 3/5 for softness". 3/5 for value for money".It smells famazing. It felt soft to the touch, but upon applying it to my hair it gave it a rough feeling. After I detangled and wirkedbit into my hair it immediately absorbed into my strands and felt really good on my hair. After I let it sit for about an hour (6-7 min w/ heat) my hair felt soft I could run my fingers through it and everything was everything. After I washed it out my hair was a tangled mess and felt hard. For reference my hair is 4a in the front 4b/c throughout. I'm low porosity with thick/course strands, and medium/high density.

I think that this product is amazing. After seeing it all over Instagram, I decided to buy it for myself. I used it for the first time today and:- it smells AMAZING-makes detangling soooo easy-SLIPPERY AF!-has great ingredients-support black businesses!All in all a great product. Highly recommend.

Great product!!! So, shampoo'd and towel 'dried'. My hair was super-crunchy. I have coarse frizzy, wavy, kinky hair. My hair has been super-damaged from stress and general neglect. So, I put the GIRL+HAIR mask on, thick. I couldn't even finger-comb my hair, it was awful. After I worked the first bit of product in, I was able to get my fingers through without tugging- WOW! The product absorbed quickly, so per directions, I added more. I put my hair in a cap and wrapped it in a towel to be warm. I went worked on school work, after about 30 minutes, I rinsesd it out...it rinsed out cleanly (squeaky). I towel dried my hair and went to bed. I did not add any other products because I wanted to see how it goes. WOW! Woke up, my waves are clumped together, it is soft, I have minimal frizz- but I think after repeated use (a week or two) it would be better. My hair is strong and soft. I feel like I just straightened it, but it still has waves. Again...minimal frizz (which is GREAT for me...) The ONLY drawback, is the fragrance, I prefer spice (ginger, peppermint, clove...) or 'natural' (cocoa butter, coconut...) this is more like sunscreen... not offensive, but just not something you WANT to smell. (Like Patchouli Vanilla- I have guys literally coming up to me to smell my hair...or Ginger Rose). But this is GREAT! I can add scented hair oil. This product is AMAZING!!!! Thank you!!!

This is my before (mask on) and after! Sorry for the terrible pictures. It definitely works very well at rejuvenating your hair and giving your curls back! My hair feels so healthy afterwards.

If you're looking for softer hair this will work but if you want a moisturizer as well this is not gonna do it.

If you've tried the Girl + Hair shampoo and conditioner, it has the same scent. Very good scent, like a combination of essential oils (peppermint scent). Made my hair feel really soft. I used, in order, the shampoo, ACV rinse, deep conditioner, then leave-in conditioner. Love love love Girl + hair line 😍

I have dry wavy hair that often looks frizzy. I use a protein shampoo and a great leave-in conditioner, but still had frizz. I added this to my routine. I use once a week and have had no frizz. Absolutely love it. I just add it in the shower and rinse before I get out.

I purchased this for my daughter (3yrs old), she has gorgeous tight coils but her hair requires ALOT of assistance in moisture. This mask for her hair was so great it soaked it up!! Along with your other products! Will be rendering again this month!!
