Works GREAT on a 5W Laser Attachment for a 3D Printer
These come with a warning in the description (and also a paper one delivered with the product) that low power lasers won't work as well with these, and I was a bit tentative to try them out. However, I'd already used some that were very similar (but half the thickness, we'll get to that) and they turned out alright once I figured out how to engrave them. So, some specs. I use a SOVOL 5W Laser Engraver attachment for an Ender 3 Pro 3D Printer. It works phenomenally as a desktop engraver, but it does require some fiddling at times. These cards work AMAZINGLY on that setup once you figure out how to do it. First, make sure you are set up at the exact focal distance specified by your printer. This is good practice anyway, but any painted metal proves to be more difficult without that step. Next you'll want to find the right settings. You don't actually need to go max power or super slow, I find a middle ground actually works great. However, I suggest going into Lightburn (or whatever you use to control the engraver) and putting like 10 squares with varying settings on one project file to see which square works best. (To make it easier for you, these are 87mm X 55mm.)When you first engrave on these you'll notice it doesn't look super shiny, that's because there is paint residue left over. Just grab a sponge, run it under some water, and spray some cleaner (I use LA's Awesome Spray from the dollar store) and wipe it off. If I have any difficult spots or fine details I'll spray the card and use a Q-Tip to scrub it clean. If after doing this once or twice you don't have the shiny finish you want, it's probably one of two things: either your engraver head is too far/close to the card's surface, or your lens needs cleaned. I recommend cleaning your lens at least once a day to keep things crisp. (Just take a Q-Tip, put some rubbing alcohol on it and gently wipe the lens of your engraver.)I did some tests like the one in the picture to see how it does on really thin lines and dots, and they do great. No peeling or scratching present. As for the thickness of these, I love it. I did use some that were way thinner and I thought they weren't bad (cause honestly they weren't they're still metal), but once you hold one of these and feel the difference in rigidity there's no going back. Also, they seem to hold up quite well. I know this because immediately upon opening the package I promptly dropped the cads in their plastic case and a full bottle of water on them (don't ask). The bottle shattered the plastic case they came in and the cards scraped along each other and flew all over the room. Only one actually had a noticeable scratch, and that one was on me...TLDR: These work great and feel great in the hand!

Better than default thickness aluminum cards for engraving
I used these to make event VIP passes for a friend. Before, I made them with the thinner, cheaper cards, and the comments coming back indicated a stiffer card would be desired. So I ordered these. Significantly stiffer, similar engraveability, and still within a reasonable price point. Even thicker cards exist, but they are very expensive and difficult to engrave sharply. Will buy these again.

Cheap enough but...
The first few engraved excellent, then I had to mess with my parameters to get decent results. It appears the coating may not be consistent throughout the lot. They look nice once they're done, but the black coating with gold underneath doesn't have enough contrast to be able to read small print easily. Great for bold designs, but stay away from small fonts if you're using them for business cards.

Nice!
Pretty good! They are not easy to bend and laser engraving looks a lot better on them than others I’ve tried.

Best cards you’ll find
These cards are the best I’ve found. They’re the thicker and actually anodized cards, not the paper thin painted ones you mostly see. Cards were packed nicely in a good quality case. No burred edges like I’ve found on other brands. Nice smooth edges on every card. Despite the warning of needing higher powered lasers, these engraved absolutely great with a 2w ir laser, which actually did slightly better than my 20w fiber, just slower. Only mild issue was that they do tend to be stuck together a bit in the package, but they’re fine once you get them separated initially.

STUCK TOGETHER
Have purchased Blue,Red,Black With no problems. The green cards were all stuck together...You can spend an hour or more prying them apart like I did or return them like I should have done.. Other than stuck together problem they are great cards for lasering...

Perfect!
Perfect! I have an engraving business and I engrave my business cards - they engrave very cleanly and they aren't flimsy at all! Everyone is always impressed with the metal business card and surprised they can keep it.
