CricutStandardGrip Cutting Mat 12"X24" 2/Pkg

I have had 3 cricuts over the years and they all work wonderfully. These mats are awesome. I can cut a million different things on these mats, gently clean them, and continue to use them. I try to designate mats for the types of cuts I’m making (ie paper, cardstock, leather, felt,etc). The differentiation allows me to get a lot more use out of my mats. At first the mats can be extremely sticky so putting your hands on it can help reduce the sticky just a smidge. Be careful with fibrous items because they are very tough to get clean. You’ll run through mats much quicker if you don’t use a contact sheet cover to protect your mat!

Using the Cricut brand mats with your Cricut machine eliminates the uncertainty of whether the product will fit the machine, damage the machine, or just be a waste of money. I would definitely recommend these Cricut mats for projects involving heavy, good-quality card stock. These mats held the project materials in place perfectly.One important attribute to note about these mats is that when they are brand new, they tend to be quite sticky. Light-weight card stock, cheap poster board, or thin paper will sometimes be stuck to the mat to the point which the materials tear, even at times making removing the scraps from the mat difficult to nearly impossible. For lighter weight materials, I would suggest using the Cricut LightGrip Adhesive Cutting Mat. I found that on Amazon, also!

I like to make vinyl signs and do work on larger items than the normal 12 x 12 and these mats work perfectly. Little hint: If you cut these in half, you will have 2 fresh mats to work with. I figure that when I get one of these packages, I get a large format mat, but two of the 12 x 12s as I cut one of them in half and it works great for me. Do the math and see the benefit. I've tried reconditioning my old mats, but they either get too sticky or not sticky enough. Since I'm able to get these from Amazon with free shipping (Amazon Prime Membership), it is easier to just purchase this set. Hope this helps.

Just what I wanted and a good value.

I've been using this product with my cricut for a few years now and love it. The product came in an exceptionally nice packaging with no bumps or lumps. It was nice and straight and it came sooner than expected. I was very happy. I usually cut these in half and get twice the amount of use out of them.

My cricut is only 6x12, and I guess I thought that this was 6x12 also. When I recieved it, I saw the box and was like "Oh dear lord, box big enough?" thats when it hit me I ordered the wrong size. But this actually turned out better, becuase even though my cricut is definitely not this big, I cut the mats into 6X12 sizes, and now I have 8 brand new cutting mats!I should pay more attention to what it is I am looking at online, and yes to answer your question I am blonde, but this turned out so much better than just buying the size I actually needed. Score!

these mats are good quality! I got one 12 x 12 mat with my cricut purchase and its not sticky at all! These TWO mats are very sticky and they make sure whatever you are cutting stays in place! These were also shipped out quick and arrived about 3 days before they said they would!
