Great positioning/transfer pad
These transfer blankets are the best we have come across. Strong, durable, waterproof, and machine washable. I tend to have to replace them only after my wife goes to the hospital. The EMTs leave her on it for the transfer to the gurney and to the hospital bed, then it will poof before I can retrieve it.

Way-y-y Better Than Expected
I care for my husband who is bed ridden and has Alzheimer. It’s almost impossible to do anything with him. Now I can turn him over, clean and dress him, change his bedsheets, and so much more. Why? The side handles and the fact that the blue side of the pad allows for easier slide movement. It’s a learning process. I had no idea how to effectively use the pad, even though it was still a huge boon for me. My husband’s nurse and aide showed me numerous ways to use this pad efficiently all by myself. This is a necessity for anyone who cares for a loved one who has limited or no mobility. An aide or nurse tips are encouraged if you want the best benefits. Almost forgot. . . I am no longer straining my back.

Well made and durable pad--essential for caring for a bed-bound senior
My dad is 99 and has been bed bound for about a year. Before we got this pad, it was difficult, almost impossible, to move him around. He's 6 feet tall and big boned. His caregivers use this pad to adjust his position so that he doesn't get bed sores, and to move him around for changing and bed baths. I just reordered a second pad, so that we can keep a clean pad on his bed at all times. The first one is still in good shape, after almost a year of use and washings.

Perfect tool for caretakers
Perfect for moving and working with bedridden patients. Handles make it easier to roll or move a patient while still in bed. Excellent absorbancy keeps sheets and mattress dry.

Best length for moving a patient several times a day.
Great for moving a patient several times a day, since you have to slide the whole bedding at the same time.

Doesn't slide
This doesn't slide. It grips to the sheet. Even for a person of light weight, I don't see this sliding well to move them around. On the opis side, it is very waterproof and protecting of sheets below. He said it is very comfortable. It's very padded. What's not comfortable is feeling all the handles any time he moves because the pad is too narrow. I liked this but it didn't work for us.

My mom is in the hospital so my sister and I bought these to help put her up in the bed better when she slides down and they are excellent.

We were having difficulties being able to move my dad but this made it easy. I probably could have used a slightly shorter length.
