I actually ordered three different inserts that I thought were good choices. These came out on top. Easy to work with/insert into the cap, very durable construction, and the flexibility, or lack thereof, is very good. After trying all three of my original purchases, this was the clear winner--they don't disappoint.

The Insert Liner really helps maintain the new look of my baseball cap, even my older caps But the summer heat makes it very uncomfortable to wear because the material does seem to get warm. ( I'm tempted to put a few more holes in the Gilumza shaper material to let the airflow.) Right now I take out the insert Liner during the Summer months when wearing the cap and put the Insert back into the cap when not wearing to help maintain the shape of the cap. Note: The caps do have a better shape, even after taking out the Insert to wear in the Summer.

I bought these for some old collectible caps I do not wear. So im not reviewing how these feel in the cap on my head or their performance therein, just their performance as displayers.First off, EXCELLENT product if this is what you’re going for.It’s well made, malleable, trimmable...about the easiest thing to work with ever, plus materials wise, resistant to moisture (unlike home made or manufacturer cardboard inserts which ive used for years).These are also coated with a felt like exterior to prevent snagging or damage to fragile old caps yet due to the felt, they have a bit of a grip to hold their place once set into the cap liner.My small vintage collection of old movie caps (child sized to medium to adult) went from sad, sagging crowns to proudly displaying the emblems and full face of the cap without any undue stress on the stitching or awkward looking shaping.Really pleased with this very simple, very pragmatic long term storage or display product and am happily buying 4 more.if you plan to WEAR this with your cap, be warned, other reviews mention these can be bulky,/ not too breathable and irritating to one’s skin.

It’s durable, prices is pretty good, works ok but makes my head hot, holds heat in. Winter time that’s good not so much on hot days.

The newer low profile caps, even the expensive ones tend to lose their shape with time and after the crappy paper shapers give up the ghost. These inserts do a great job as replacement of the cheap cardboard shapers provided with new caps. These inserts fit well and are well made and preserve the shape of your cap.

For all those mid height, 5-panel caps, this is it. This product will make sure that your cap continues to look new and have structure after you throw the cardboard or fabric insert away.A lot of modern all polyester hats have no real structure and so look messy unless you have something like this underneath.
