The sale page said it was a three pack
If it’s a three pack, why did I only get one package. I am fuming mad. Tried calling and got a voicemail which didn’t allow me to leave a message.HORRIBLE!!!!!

Helpful info if using raw milk.
Makes great yogurt. Side note if you are using raw milk as I see some negative reviews are stating you need to hear the milk to 180 as instructions say essentially pasteurizing the milk. The reason is simple, the cultures in this strain are very fragile and what actually happens is all that good bacteria in your raw milk that is great for cheesemaking consumes the bacteria in this culture and that’s why you ended up with runny yogurt. So if you use raw milk you should heat to high temperature then cool as instructed. Don’t add this to warm raw milk or it won’t work because of the bacteria present in your raw milk.

Four Stars
Good product but costly one.

did not work
Didn't work. Wasted organic grass fed whole cream line milk on this. I have made yogurt many times before but haven't done it in a while so went with this hoping for the creamy bulgarian style yogurt and it didn't make any style yogurt.

Use Pavel's to set your Bulgarian style yoghurt instead.
I purchased this from Cheesemaking dot com. They sold it to me with the same promise as advertised on this product page. My yoghurt was gooey and runny. Far far away from Bulgarian style. Tried it with regular organic, grassfed (non-homogenized) and raw(unpast-n/h) milks. No dice. Too bad the culture a Canadian seller used to sell is no longer available here. For now, the best bet to make Bulgarian yoghurt is to use hit up stores and look for the Russian owned Pavel brand. Imho its the tastiest and best off-the-shelf yoghurt in the industry. Unfortunately, it's not organic, but you can always grandfather that out slowly. The bigger appeal to me also is that it's available in a pinch where I live.
