SolDiMar Pesasur Sardines in Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 120g (Pack of 5)

Gorgeous sardines! Arrived on time & lovely & tasty. I recommend these.

These are large, adult, fish. They are dry and the olive oil is dark, cloudy and brown. I have tried many, many sardines and consider myself somewhat of a tinned sardine connoisseur. This are not very nice.

I'm docking off a star because the top of the sardine near the head is not properly gutted. There are still gill parts and other innards which impart a bitter taste. If you can scrape these out yourself, the flavor will improve, but you shouldn't have to do it. Apart from the top portion, the rest of the sardine tastes just fine. However, the next time I buy sardines, I will be looking for other brands like La Gondola or Connetable or Parmentier.

The worst sardines I have ever tasted, super salty and dry. very bad and expensive.
