I just received this cast iron skillet and was very disappointed as soon as I opened it. The finish was not very well done. It is extremely porous on part of the skillet and not on others. I do know if I just got a bad one but just one look at and you can tell this company doesn't have good quality control. This is the a picture after I seasoned it and one after I cooked a pan of cornbread. Much to my surprise the cornbread came right out without sticking and the skillet cleaned up nicely.

The skillet came as-advertised. Nice looking piece, and the size is perfect to fit on a small stove burner. It actually fits perfectly with my burger press, and is the right size to make a single patty with room to maneuver. Cleaning and care is the same as with all cast iron products.

It's ok. I use it.
