Does each light have an off switch? I'm asking this question again, because the previous answers were contradictory. Some say yes, some say no.

Yes, there is an off switch. There is a button that's right next to the motion sensor. 1st push gets a dem light, 2nd push, a brighter light, 3rd push is motion only and 4th push turns unit off.

What is the physical size of each lamp, width x height?

They look larger in some of the photos but they are sized to exactly fit a standard wooden fence post. They are also bright white and harsh like security lights, not what I consider decorative.

Make sure it is in the correct mode, If you have it in the correct mode it may be defective
