I ordered these after I read that supermarket cinnamon in the spice aisle is often not true cinnamon, and lately contaminated. I’ve used this is a few ways: Boiled it to make cinnamon water to add to my tea, put cinnamon sticks in my tea (then dry and reuse) when I haven’t taken the time to make more of the water, and made ground cinnamon to use in baking by using a small coffee grinder. The flavor is excellent IMO.

Definitely cinnamony, except for the fact Some of the sticks seem to not have any cinamon in them...

I use a lot of whole cinnamon for spiced tea, which I drink every morning. I was using regular, not true cinnamon, but I have read that it's not as good for you, so I switched to true cinnamon. This cinnamon is very good, a bit subtler and sweeter than cassia, and it works really well in tea and other steeped things.

I read many reviews before ordering this cinnamon. But since the positive seemed to outweigh the negative, I went ahead. I have to say, that my bag did indeed smell of turpentine, not cinnamon, but I put a stick in my coffee anyway. I let it steep for a few minutes, but the taste was not good. Barely a hint of cinnamon, and just a strange taste to it. This may or may not be a coincidence, but 2 hours later I had terrible gripping pains in my stomach. Unfortunately, this is a non returnable item, but I guess being a prime member for 25 years has its perks, because Amazon refunded me without having to send it back. It went right in my trash can.

Everything was so fresh and tasted great. I have no complaints at all! Love it !!!MUY BUENA, HUELE BUENO.
