The Adventures of Ali Baba Bernstein

What couldn't you like about these characters? I had loads of questions from my readers about things that seem so foreign to them. It's an excellent time capsule of the "olden days" as my students said. A great read. I had to pull out my visuals of land line phones. I still choose it in my book club. I'll always be a super fan of Johanna Hurwitz!

Loved this story as a kid, and super thrilled to have found it still available. I actually JUST started reading it to my boys last night and they loved it as well.Only problem, which turned out to be a plus, is I somehow ordered 2 books. Not sure why I didn't see that when ordering, but they came in great condition and arrived fast.

This book is a great read for young readers and really well written. I bought it for a friend and she loved it!

My oldest son really got a kick out this book. It was for a homeschool curriculum we used and he though the premise was really neat. Especially since he shares his name with his great grandfather.

Cute book about a boy that makes everyday life seem more interesting. I would read more in the series. I recommend for ages 6 and up.
