Puzzle Complete???
This entire series has had me on pins and needles, but in the best way. I was glad that Amy and Chad were finally together but kept waiting for the other shoe to fall. Can't wait to read the last book.

Chad, Chad, Chad…
At first it started off refreshing with a different POV, however it didn’t hold my attention and it took me a while to pick this title back up after zooming through the first two books of the series. It was full of action. It was too much going on in the story line, and was one after another to finally bring it home.

Intriguing
This is the third book in the series & it's amazingly intriguing. I could not put it down. Every turn to the story awesome. I look forward to reading the fourth book to where all the loose ends are neatly tied together.

I felt like it was a bit rushed
Forsaken has been one of my most anticipated reads. I have been waiting patiently for two years for more answers and now everything finally comes together.Forsaken is Chad’s story. Chad is Amy’s brother. The men who originally hired Chad to find the treasure, have taken him and want the treasure for themselves. When Gia finds out what plans the men have for Chad, she sets her own plan in motion to help him escape. Now the two of them are on the run. Motives will be questioned. Trust will be fleeting. This game of cat and mouse will leave you asking even more question than before…I am not going to go into a lot of details, but I will tell you this: We finally, finally get some answers. We finally find out what happened and how Amy got sent into hiding. Chad had to risk so much to not only keep Amy safe and alive, but to also keep himself safe. And let me tell you, this story takes you on one thrilling ride.I did have a few issues with the story. In the beginning, I did find it a little hard to follow. The writing transitions weren’t very smooth, making it hard to tell who was talking at times. My other issue was the ending. I felt like it was a bit rushed. The story hit it’s climax and then it was like boom, it’s over. Please don’t me wrong. I know there is a book 4 coming out soon and is supposed to be wrapping up the series as a whole. I just felt like something was missing. I guess I was expecting a little more closure with Chad’s part of the story since this is his book. All that being said, I did really enjoy this book. It was fast paced and action packed. I was pulled into the story immediately and couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. There definitely was never a dull moment. I loved the twists. The twists kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat. There was also plenty of romance and steamy moments. Amy and Liam fans, do not fret. We do get spend plenty of time with them.Everything has come full circle now. I still have some questions and am waiting in anticipation to get those answers. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the story will unfold and find out what’s in store for everyone next.*I was provided an ARC copy of this book via TRSOR Promotions, in exchange for an honest review*My Review can also be seen at: http://onceuponabookblog.com/2015/08/...

Anticipation
Amy's Brother Chad is back from the dead, and he brings a boat load of anger, attitude, and trouble. Book three will keep you guessing. While anticipating one scenario only to be moved to another and yet you still haven't gotten the answers you thought you were going to get. Give this thriller a read, but you will not want to put it down until you finally get some real answer.

He’s the cause of everything that transpired…
This is the third book in the series and should not be read out of series order. We’ve learned Amy’s side of the story but there was so much missing that she couldn’t learn for the answers reside with her brother Chad, whom she thought to have died in the fire with her parents six years ago. As did Amy, Chad escaped the inferno of their family home to watch over his sister unknown to her from a distance. Now we hear the brother’s side of the story and it’s an intriguing tale of betrayals, hard lessons, healing, redemption and vengeance. Can a man devastated by the consequences of his actions find some semblance of absolution? Our anti-hero made many mistakes, letting the adrenaline rush of the hunt and the money obtained lead him down a dark path that began with his association with The Underground, a group of treasure seekers. The cost of his last hunt was too high, the blood of those that he loved. He’s remained hidden for six years protecting the one person that has meaning to him, tormented by the loss that they share, until he’s caught by those who hired him and tortured for the location of the treasure that they think he has. Expecting to die at any moment the tables are turned when a beautiful brunette sets him free. Can he trust this woman or is she another attempt by his enemies to break him? There’s something about this vulnerable blue-eyed savior who calls to parts of him that he thought long dead, that he can’t afford to let loose, emotions that are a distraction to their survival. And there’s more to this woman than she lets on, her truths to be uncovered. He’s not the only one with secrets, will hers destroy them both?I love this series. This story is told in Chad’s point of view, it’s fast paced action and suspense with the deep emotions of two souls with heartbreaking histories and unexpected plot twists that keep the reader guessing. The words were seductive, the sex scenes nice and steamy. The protagonists are multifaceted, compelling characters that you easily become invested in. We obtain answers to the mystery laid out in the first two books with a satisfying ending. I’m so looking forward to the final resolution of things in the next book, Unbroken.ARC provided by the author.

Captivating
This is the third instalment of "the Secret Life of Amy Bensen" and it's just as captivating and intriguing as the first two in this series. In the last book Amy was told that her brother, Chad is still alive and this part is narrated from Chad's POV. He starts with the events which took place six years ago on the tragic night when his life along with Amy's changed completely. He is now being held captive by Sheridan who wants him to hand over a valuable but dangerous object if it falls in the wrong hands! Just when he thinks that his time is up, Gaia comes to his rescue. He escapes with her help but trust doesn't come easy to him in view of past betrayals. Is she setting him up to obtain the information on the mysterious object? He has been betrayed by a woman in the past.Gaia works for Sheridan but she has her own reasons to help Chad but knowing what she does about him, she keeps her own secrets. He ensures that she is aware of how ruthless he can be if she betrays him. Chad doesn't trust anybody else besides Jared, who has helped him to keep his sister safe for the past six years. Jared brings him up to date with Amy's situation and he is not very happy to learn about her involvement with Liam. After all Liam is a billionaire and money breeds greed as proven by Sheridan. As the story unfolds, answers to the questions about Amy's situation are revealed and the pace is just as fast with the ongoing new developments. There is danger in every corner and knowing who to trust becomes increasingly difficult. The attraction between Gaia and Chad is very obvious but again, trust or lack of gets in the way. Will they be able to trust if they manage to get out of this dangerous situation? Is Sheridan the only enemy? This instalment is full of enough twists and turns as well as palpable emotions to make it a real page turner. It's nice to catch up with Liam, Amy and Tellar. There is one more part to come. Can it get any better? I for one am looking forward to see how it all ends.I would recommend to all romance lovers. Great story line, well worth reading.

Proper Books
There is always so much detail in Lisa Renee Jones' stories that you really have a very good picture in your mind of what she writing.I thoroughly enjoyed this book, as I did the previous two (although part 2 had a rather unsatisfying ending, it was picked up in this book), but the wait was rather long between parts 2 and 3 and I started the third book and then found I had to go back to the second book as I couldn't remember some of the characters and then I thought 'why not just start at the beginning again and read all three'! Thank God the fourth part is out next week! What I also really like about Lisa Renee Jones' books is that you really get your money's worth. There is no novel broken up into 24 parts over 2 years where you end up not really caring what happens to anyone. Sure, this is a four part story, but you are getting a proper book each time with characters you care about; a storyline that you can follow; well edited text that has few errors. These serial books that are so popular on Amazon seem to be made up as they go along with no real set story and twists and turns that are unrealistic. So, if you want a really decent story to read, you can't go wrong with the Amy Benson series of books.
