This rake gets the job done fast! It's very well made and strong, seldom seen these days. This is no light weight flimsy rake. It's fairly heavy and cuts through your lawn picking up debris and leaves. I expect this rake to last and I'm very pleased with it. It's had heavy use already.

And I've had no issues with the handle or handle sleeve after 3 or 4 years of using it. Just bought one for a family member who loves it. Worth the money.

This is my favorite rake. It is sturdy and rakes well without me having to put a lot of downward pressure on it. I use it for raking leaves, and hay, and cleaning up around the farm. Somehow it takes up the debris effectively without also raking up the gravel. It dethatches the lawn nicely. My only complaint is that the foam handle cover is slowly coming off. It is tight so it can’t be moved back into its proper position, but not tight enough to keep it there. If that could be fixed it would be the perfect rake. That said, if I need an additional rake I would buy this one, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good rake.

I had volunteered at the Los Angeles Zoo as part of a fundraiser and we had used some flimsy rakes to help clean up one of the animal areas. I was talking with a keeper and she told me how they were "always going through rakes" because the tines would break. So I bought a few of these and donated them to the zoo to use and let them know there were better rakes out there to use.As a kid I remember my father buying a steel leaf rake. We put that through hell. We would rake up stones, cans, just about anything. That rake lasted for years and worked great. I imagine this one would too. It is very well made.The only reason for the mark down is the handle is wood. With a steel rake it should be metal too to make it almost indestructible (like the one my father bought).

This rake cannot be used for any rocks bigger than a pebble. The tongs are so, so flimsy. Using it to spread dirt worked a little better, but it required more man power to rake it than a typical metal rake. We do really like the foam handle even though it slides off a bit. Overall, absolutely NOT worth the price. Not even remotely close.

Arrived far sooner than expected, Is a real true temper, and held up to abuse that would kill any plastic rake. It’s a little expensive, and a little small, but it does it’s job and isn’t disposable crap. I don’t love the poly finish they put on things like this, but everyone does it to protect the wood. A little sanding and some BLO will make this a real tool that will last.

This little rake is a beast. Leaves, twigs and more; this thing can move it all. Not a garden rake!! This is ment for brush clearing. Its lightweight and easy to hold!

Using it for raking small oak leaves. Huge trees…small leaves. Does a much better job than conventional metal rakes.Recommended to me by an arborist.
