Good replacement
Great replacement, my truck is a 1979 k10 and the original valve was stuck causing my rear brakes to not work, I got this valve AND I got the thread in bleeder screw that goes in were the brake switch is so the brakes can be properly bled without the slide moving stoping flow to the front or rear, valve works good as new.

Fits 1978 Chevy k20
Easy install, don’t forget to buy break fluid. Quality was better than I expected. I should have ordered a break bleed hand pump vac at the same time.

Leaks and fails in less than 1 year
I started having problems with this unit 2 months after I installed it. First it started making a snapping sound after applying brakes. Then it's started dragging the front brakes. I even melted my original Buick Grand National center caps. It warped my rotors and melted the brake pads. Then it started leaking behind the black cover. This thing caused me so much money and caused me so much headache. I ended up getting one from a local parts store and it fixed all my issues. Never again with these cheap valves. I can't believe I drove my family in the car with that dangerous valve.
