How are these better than volie straps?

ROK STRAPS ARE PATENTED BUNGEES THAT PROVIDE CONSTANT TENSION SO THEY WON'T LOOSEN UP. BEING ADJUSTABLE FOR LENGTH MAKES THEM USEFUL IN AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF SITUATIONS. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU WOULD USE A VOLIE STRAP FOR, OTHER THEN SECURING SKIS.

Would these work for strapping a surfboard to a roofrack?

Perfect for roofracks! BUT buy the 18-60" ROK-10020 or ROK-10031 or Solid black ROK-10025. The 10306's are too short. Get the longer one. Loop-thru each strap on the bars and then buckle it and pull tight. Use both straps.
