Great rope for holding up antennas
Works great and being black harder to see. I love it and use a lot of it.

the rope of sailors, and water wells
i have a shallow well, making almost 10 gallons a day which i use to grow plants with. my pump is hanging from this line, 1000 pounds strength according to the data.when i was in the navy, i got into sailing...ya, i know, but i was land based for 4 years, i digress. all the ropes used on the sailboats that were critical were dacron.this is very strong stuff, and if it matters, i recommend it. nylon will break down in time exposed to sunlight, everything does including rock, this just breaks down a lot slower than other materials used in rope.

Good quality, low stretch
I used this for my kayak seat. I bought 3/16 when it should have been 1/4 but it's firm enough that it doesn't slip in the cleat even though it's smaller than it should be. I'm still going to get some 1/4 inch.

Not Good For Knot Tying
KNOTS DO NOT HOLD WELL...Someone below mentioned it does. I couldn't even make a basic taut-line hitch. This stuff is way too slippery...Sending it back.

Strong, slick, weather resistant cord
I use this to string up wire antennas for Ham Radio and this cord has far outlasted my previous paracord use. It is more up front compared to 550 cord, but it holds up so much better and I have peace of mind that my antennas will not come crashing down at random.

Excellent stuff
I dont think I will ever use another product if I can get my hands on this stuff. The sun does nothing to this stuff even after months of exposure. It doesnt stretch it just does its job and holds what ever its tied to in place. I used this for guy lines on a portable antenna pole. After two years i don't see anything that indicates deterioration asside from it being a bit lighter in color than it was ywo years ago but thats a long dam time in the elements so ya this stuff is fantastic.
