I’m very disappointed that the battery life was less than o e year.Ordered January 2023 died early December 2023.I have ordered another only because I need it. Let’s hope it lasts longer.

For the 6 months that it did work, It was great. It lasted a good amount of time if the vacuum was set to high performance mode. The only complaint during this time was that it was a little tough to connect to the charger station. The barrel jack didn't connect smoothly like the original battery pack does. Other than that, it worked great.Now only days away from 6 months of use, the battery is completely dead. It won't charge at all. The charging light blinks for 4-5 seconds then stops. Leaving the battery on the charger over a longer period of time (anything longer than 30 min) does nothing for it. It isn't even worthy of a paperweight now considering dead lithium batteries aren't all that safe. Faulty lithium ion batteries have tendencies to balloon or explode (look up Spicy Pillows). Hoping for either a replacement, or I will just try to find something else.

I have the Dyson v8 Animal. I can’t recall what I paid, maybe $500 5 years ago. I timed the battery recently and it completely quit working after 1 min 22 seconds! So…. Did not like the idea of replacing expensive vacuum especially after weak pandemic income… so decided on a whim to search battery replacements.Found this gem and I’m seriously blown away!! I may buy another right now just so I have a backup when the time comes to replace… it’s seriously THAT GOOD!Changed the battery, easy. Charged properly. Timed todays vacuum and got over 18 minutes out of it before I decided to stop!! Not the machine!! Was down to one light, not sure how long it had been in one light. And I’m not sure if it’s good to run all the way out or not. I can’t remember. I was on high suction for 15 minutes for all my floors and then switched to low suction for window sills. It was over 18 minutes. I’m thoroughly impressed!

Bought this previously as the OEM battery died. This one lasted almost a year. I will take some of the blame because we tend to put the stick vacuum back on charger when not in use. I would recommend not doing that. Rather, run the thing till it’s dead, and then plug it back in. While this is not convenient, I believe it will lead to longer battery life. I purchased this one because they were marked down incredibly.

It immensely worked. Purchased my Dyson V7 used. I was so upset when the full suction setting didn’t work. After reading several problem solving posts. Turns out. Just need a new battery. The prices range all over the place. This was the best price. NOTE! I’ve only had this battery for a couple of weeks. But so far. Very pleased.

Purchased on July 16th 2023, and now the battery will not take a charge. Been using it regularly and would expect it to go for at least one year. LED blinking indicating battery will no longer take a charge. Sent message to seller. No response yet. That's my experience with it. Will be buying a replacement elsewhere.

I rcvd the battery 12/10/22. It worked great. I could vacuum on max for a long time. However today 02/04/22, I get out and nothing. The battery light flashes red. So I plug it up, the blue lights flash like normal for charging, then the go out (not normal). I check the plug and everything. Leave plug up for a few hours, nothing and battery flashes red. Thankfully I kept my original battery and it charges just fine. The origjnal battery is old and doesn't last as long but it least it works. And I could have returned 5 days ago. 🙄
