Doesn't fit Well on My Small, Oval Face. Keeps Head Warm in Cold Waters. Like the Zipper feature.
I chose this IST Proline HDN0250 neoprene hood because of the zipper - I didn't want to fight pulling a mask over my head. I was torn between the IST hood & a pull over hood because the IST hood stops at the neckline & doesn't have an option to tuck under a wetsuit for a full seal against water.As it turns out, the shorter neck didn't bother me snorkeling in cold waters (15-17C). I felt the cold at my neck a little bit a couple of times, but otherwise my head stayed warm. What bothered me the most was how the mask fit on my small, oval face and how the opening, if not adjusted perfectly, would cause mask problems. The opening around the mouth/chin was short, so the chin portion rides up to completely cover my mouth - I had to keep tugging at it because it pushed on my snorkel & eventually caused mouth discomfort.Someone with a rounder head may find this mask a better fit.

It's OK
A little tight around the chin area but I only use it to water ski when its cold so don't have to wear it long term. If I was using it for long dives i'd return it for a bigger size.

Great deal, runs small.
I wear small hats, but I didn't want an overly tight hood, so I ordered a medium (which was one size above where I landed in the chart). Well, it's very, very tight on my head. I have trouble zipping it closed. Other than that, it's a very well constructed hood. Love the glideskin inside and out. I sometimes use a full face mask, so this will be great for that. They give a generous amount of material around the face so that it can be trimmed for a perfect fit.
